Hello and welcome to another week . . and another instalment of WYNNETH MADE ME DO IT!!!

Morning peeps,
Well our overnight visitors have just left and are wending their weary way to Littlecote House in the Cotswolds for a further few days before heading home to Blackpool. We had a great time entertaining them and it was lovely to see them, they're always welcome.

Anyhoo, back to the crafting weekend . . . once we reached home and checked out what each of us had bought, stroked it all and wished we'd bought that too, it was plainly time to start working again..... Lauren had been working on a lovely canvas from Friday and felt it needed just a little something - what we hadn't realised it needed was . . . . wine!!! Everything seemed to flow better with wine!
I had been working on a little ATC sized canvas and had used various distress inks in pinkish, red and green tones. I used a couple of Lauren's stamps whilst the opportunity presented itself (sneaky huh!?) and then brushed one of her magnificently pinky cosmic shimmer mica powders - yummmmmmmmmmmm!
Wynneth was very wisely keeping her head down and her projects secret . . .. we don't THINK she was actually sleeping! (sorry Wynneth we KNOW you weren't as there were periodic chuckles).
You could see that Lauren, clearly had her priorities in the right order as Wynneth was busily thinking of the best way to use a length of ribbon I'd chopped off for her and Lauren was . . . . glugging a glass of red!! Hmmm, so that's the secret to creative crafting is it? Must remember that . . . . I seemed to prefer white myself and it was doing sterling service, in lieu of an easel for my little boy angel card - wouldn't you say?
We finally got the call that dinner was about ready and had to rush around and clear a space to enable us to eat which, amazingly we did manage, and slightly before dinner was serviced hence this last photo - "we're ready - bring on the fatted calf!"!!! Hope you are enjoying sharing our Bristol Craftathon weekend - there is certainly at least one more instalment here but I can't put any more pix in to this post so you'll just have to check back again - least I hope you will.
I hope you will all enjoy your Monday and I'd just like to say
thank you to Lauren and Wyneth and Mary and Barry for making my weekend so enjoyable

He blooming well did, didn't he? All hail the cookery hero - and a bit of a hero for putting up with all of our antics - and to Tom and Alan for making "accommodations" so my crafting buds could join me.
