Hi folks, been missing in action - crafting action that is!!!!

Afternoon peeps,

Had a busy morning this morning, hence the lateness of this post . . . fellow crafter,
Lilian, and myself have been to the Crafts4all show at the University of the West of England in Bristol and here are some piccies. It's £8 to get in (unless you've paid in advance in which case it's £7 but there were quite a few stalls there and quite a few crafts catered for. Lilian's a stitcher and jewellery maker and she found plenty to fill her basket! I'm a rubber stamping card maker and SO DID I!!! We were, however, more than a little surprised to see this chap and his two mates!! They were on a stall selling alpaca wool and were quite friendly but bored! This one was spark out the first time we came across him!, yes, we DID go round several times! You can see how happy Lilian was to find this stitching stand! And me, I was very happy to find several stalls selling Paper Artsy goodies and Tim Holtz goodies so had to check out which ones were the cheapest before going back to buy, buy, buy!!

As you can see, I got a fairly splendid haul of Paper Artsy stamps and Distress Inks in Barn Door, Wild Honey, Faded Jeans and Shabby Shutters plus (from a stitching stall) a distressing tool very similar to the Tim Holtz tool but for less than half the price and YES, it IS PURPLE too!!!!

It's on again tomorrow (Sunday) should anyone feel the urge to visit - check it out here There are also plans afoot to have another, same venue, April 1st to 3rd 2011, for those who might be interested.

Anyway, being Saturday it is sketchie day over on craftbubbles Craft Mad and Loving It group and today we have a Guest Design Team Member in Georgie who has presented us with this lovely sketch and the twist is to feature "BUTTONS BOWS AND BEADS"!! If you fancy having a go then do nip along to here and have a look at the fab cards made by the Design Team OR you can check out Georgies blog here

Looks like you had a fun day Kathy! Mine was not nearly so thrilling as I have been taking rubbish to the dump. Hubby told me that there was rather a lot of craft stuff that could go to the dump. Hubby is now under the patio!!!!!
