Woo Hoo, crafting with a pal!

Hello dear reader,

As most of you will know I'm enjoying the early stages of Craftapalooza here in Florida and today Wynneth and Tom came to us . . . . the boys went off to Palm Casual as we had a couple of patio chairs in need of repair. Whilst they were away . . . . the girlies decided to play. Tom had, rather cunningly we thought, headed off taking the car keys with him which rather precluded our thoughts of heading off to our nearest Michaels clutching our 40% vouchers!!! So we decided to craft our socks off!!!

Wynneth has been very taken with the technique I found in the last issue of Craft Stamper and we thought we'd give that a go using some of our new and fabulous stash - I even went out and bought some fabby post its so we could. Now I really don't have much of a selection of Distress Inks here (faded jeans, weathered wood, black soot, antique linen, tea dye, vintage photo, fired brick and wild honey) so Wynneth took the cool shades and I took the warm. her cards turned out beautifully but you'll have to wait to see them on her blog as she's WiFi less at the home she's is staying at.

Once the boys came back from doing their chores we abandoned crafting in favour of a cool drink and a stroll round the pool deck, where we found the worlds largest grasshopper but again, Wynneth took that piccie. I however found this gekko at the front of our house - awww! We call them all "Eddie" ...... Eddie Lizzard!!! Well it was probably funny once!
Anyhoo, I do hope you've enjoyed your taste of craftapalooza folks and will check back to see how we are getting along again - the third member of craftapalooza lands in Florida tomorrow evening (safe journey Karen and family) and we are meeting up on Tuesday - which should be a blast.

Yeeehawwww. Looks like you're having a disgustingly good time. Great cards too. I particularly love the flower on the right hand side, but they're all great, of course. Looking forward to seeing Wynneth's cards too when she gets round to putting them on her bloggy. Fancy that norty Tom taking the car keys with him. Sneaky eh... Lx

Warm weather, craft stash (and a 40% off voucher for more???), a pool and doubtless a few bottles in the fridge - what more could a gal ask for.
Have a great time. xxxxx
