2nd post - challenge entry!

This post is just to show you my card for the Simply Less Is More challenge which, this week is a sketch. I posted the sketch earlier and have now had the chance to complete my card, despite having really exciting things to do, like laundry, making soup and having visitors (my pal Liz popped in to collect the 80th birthday card commission!)

Materials used:
  • DL card and envelope
  • White card, rounded and coloured using Broken China D.I.
  • Blue patterned paper panel by Colossal, rounded using a Fiskars corner rounder
  • Strip of ribbed navy card treated with a Fiskars ribbon thread punch
  • Cream organza ribbon
  • Penny Black "Leopards Bane" image inked with versamark ink and then embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Black Magic embossing powder and then cut out
  • Inkadinkado sentiment inked in Ranger Archival jet black
And here's a close up of the wondrously sparkly embossing

I hope you like it and that your Saturday is going well - we have some lovely weather here today - it's only 3°c warmer in Florida!!!!!

Wow - are those starbursts hand cut? That was some work. The embossing is dazzling. Nice job.
