Hi there and welcome to Sketchie Day - sorry, Saturday!
Saturdays see a couple of new challenges being set .... and I normally do a couple. I've been doing the sketchie for a couple of years now and only missed a couple since they started which was back in November 2008!! Where DOES the time go? The other is over on Less is moreand hasn't been going all that long. It has, however, proved hugely popular, with an incredible 232 entries for last week's "Pastels" challenge! That's an astonishing number isn't it? This week's theme asks us to consider "Off the edge" when making our One Layer Card and not to include any scored lines. Whewwww, some challenge huh? Made even worse when you consider that it MUST be a Clean And Simple card too! Now I'm loving this genre at the moment but many are less comfortable with it but, plainly, lots of people wanting to get comfortable with CAS (at least 232!!!!). If you are interested then do pop along to the Less Is More blog using the link above and check out all of the lovely challenges and entries since they started - which was only February 5th 2011!!!!
My Less Is More - off the edge entry
Lilac C6 card and envelope
Inkadinkado chandelier image and Papermania sentiment inked in Memento grapejelly
Four lilac faux gemstones
And so to today's sketchie over on Craft Mad & Loving It . . . this week set by Rosieand with the added twist of "Lots of mini beasts"!!!!! If you fancy having a go then do pop over to craftbubble and check out the challenge and other entries here
Have a fab Saturday whatever you have planned, we have guests coming this evening, for dinner and staying overnight so won't be a bout so much today but do check back tomorrow to see how it went and how my challenges are coming along.
