The purple princess is away from her desk .....

again today. I'm hoping that this is going to be the last day we hightail it north on the M5 to Gloucester for cleaning, painting and decorating duties. Mind you, today we get to combine it with the added excitement of a visit from ......... (cue dramatic music) . . . the GAS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! calling sometime - presumably to suit him rather than us! Ah well, at least we can finish off those irritating little chores - you know, tightening up this, loosening that, etc!

Husband out again last night (hardly ever seem to see him!) which left me free to craft and I got the OK from my pal about the 80th birthday card so I was able to finish that off.

Materials used:
  • Cryogen white C5 card and envelope
  • Stamps Happen image inked in Ranger Archival jet black on to white card and coloured using pro markers (main image), glossy accents (bottle and glass) and green shimmer chalk (background).
  • Papermania sentiment (in two halves) and Costco scrap book kit numbers stamps, inked again in Ranger Archival jet black.
  • Narrow double sided tape attached to image panel and gilding flakes applied
  • Image panel then matted on to dark green and then gold
  • Four faux crystals

And then it was on to an ATC . . .

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Distress Inks in Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters and Forest Moss
  • Viva Decor swirl inked in Brilliance Thyme
  • Papermania sentiment inked in Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy
  • Faux emerald gemstones
  • Narrow double sided tape and emerald glitter (Art Institute)

Hope you like that too though the light was terrible when I took the photograph but I knew I wouldn't have time to do it this morning so had to take the photo last night - sorry peeps!

Have a great Tuesday

Two gorgeous cards Kathy, I love how you have added glossy accents to your glass and bottle, a great finishing touch.

Wow Kathy, I thought that was a topper!!! You've done a great job colouring it in and it looks so realistic with the glossy accents. I'm very impressed :)
