2nd post of the day, challenge entry, please scroll down to read my earlier post

Second post from me again and a challenge entry once again . . . over on the Simplicity blog there's a OLW challenge and it's challenge #50 a one layer thank you card . . .  so here's my entry

Materials used:
  • Cream C6 card and envelope
  • Fiskars image and sentiment inked in memento cocoa brown and sweet plum
  • Marvy Le Plume II pens to colour and Platinum stickles to highlight

Hope you like it. Additionally, I've been making some ATC's today as it's been too hot to sit outside and read so I came in and made three whilst I had the old Bob Hope and Bing Crosby classic "Road to Morocco" on in the background - gotta love those talking camels!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank coloured using Recollections green ink
  • Studiog cling image inked in both memento London Fog and Rosebud
  • Hero Arts sentiment inked in Rosebud
  • Crystal stickles to highlight
  • Two faux Amber gemstones

Materials used:
  • ATC blank, with corners rounded and edged with D.I. Barn Door
  • Post it notes to mask
  • Distress Inks in: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Barn Door
  • Hampton Art image inked in memento tuxedo black
  • Inkadinkado sentiment inked in memento tuxedo black
  • Two faux Amber gemstones

Hope you like the product of my labours - I'm really not sure about the third ATC so haven't posted it on here . . . if I like it better as the day goes on then you might see it tomorrow otherwise, it might get covered with patterned card and turn in to something completely different!

Wow, 29c here and I heard it was 24c in Bristol today - hope it stays nice for you all for Easter. We're heading to a BBQ at the neighbours on Sunday so truly wouldn't mind it a little cooler if I have to sit out in it all day but . . . . churlish to complain, eh?

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday everyone
