Afternoon and welcome to Sunday

Happy Sunday to you all out there in blogland - I hope your day is starting well.

Yesterday we all had a supremely lazy day beside and in the pool. We had no need to go out and, plainly, no inclination either!! We didn't get dressed till about 4pm in readiness to go out to dinner with our good friends (and neighbours) Sally and Roger. We headed off to a Mexican restaurant . . where the five of us all enjoyed a huge, and tasty meal and the beer was 2 for 1!! Why don't we have that so much back home? Mind you - I would be the size of a HOUSE if we did!!! After we'd eaten our fill it was back to ours to crack open a bottle of bubbly in order to celebrate my pals exam success (Grade VII piano) - went down very nicely it did too!

Didn't get too much crafting done yesterday but I DO now have vouchers for both Michaels and Joann's for this coming week - yee haa!!

This shows how super twinkly my canvas turned out

My mini canvas
Materials used:
  • Mini canvas from Joann's on a mini easel too - how cute is that?
  • Distress Inks in: Wild Honey, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap and Black Soot
  • Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Wellie image and sentiments inked in Memento tuxedo black and raindrops in Brilliance blue on to white card and cut out and adhered using glossy accents
  • Sparkle mod podge to seal and sparkle!!!
Hope you are all having a fantabulous Sunday and special Anniversary wishes to pal Lauren and Alan who are celebrating today
