Hi there readers

How's your day? Woke up to fog this morning - OK it was more like a thick mist but hey ...... doesn't happen often!

Last evening we decided to head out for dinner to a restaurant called Smokey Bones (it's a BBQ restaurant) and, whilst we were in there, the heavens opened. When we came out we were sheltering under their awning for 20 minutes before the rain eased off (not stopped mind you) enough for us to make it to the car. We also had to sit in the car when we got home, for the same reason. We had around 2" of rainfall!!!!

Anyhoo, no point in going out again yesterday so I sat in and crafted a little!!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Distress Inks: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Barn Door
  • Inkadinkado "twinchie" image inked in Color Box Bronze
  • Inkadinkado sentiment inked in Ranger Archival jet black
  • Credit card dragged through gold paint to create random lines
  • Bottle cap swirled in Color Box frosty white and the gold paint to create the circles

Materials  used:
  • ATC blank
  • Black card scrap ALMOST ATC size!
  • Red patterned DCWV scrap edged with Martha Stewart punch
  • Penny Black circles image inked in Color Box frosty white
  • LOTV image inked in Memento tuxedo black and coloured using alcohol markers
  • White gel pen line drawn to join holes in DCWV panel - to simulate stitching
  • Crystal stickles to highlight
  • Gloss Accents used to simulate the lenses on the images glasses
Have a great Tuesday everyone

Hi Kathy, Gosh it does look very atmospheric, great photos. We could do with some of that rain. Apparently we're now officially in a drought down here in the SE.
Two great ATC's though great colours in the first and a very cute image and interesting background on the second :0) Have fun, Gay xxx

Just look at that rain! What a downpour! I bet Steve could picture his paint running off the walls with all that. Great ATC's. I love the texture on the first one. Very nice. Lx

So sorry to hear about the torrentials. You'll be pleased to know that back home ( well down the road from your house) it's been ok, ...spits and spots of rain but generally none of the torrential stuff! xx
