It's Thursday ..... won't be long till the weekend!!

Hi there folks, guess it's early afternoon where most of you are.

How's the weather with you? It's very dull and grey here, we had a terrific (but thankfully relatively short) rainstorm yesterday evening - unfortunately, it was JUST as we arrived home so guess who spent twenty minutes sat in the car waiting for it to ease off!?? It's a muggy 22c here today

Enjoyed a fab day out with my neighbour, Sally, yesterday - we hit IKEA and got a few bits and pieces and then the mall at millenia where we grabbed a quick snack lunch at the food court - resisting the urge to try the Cheesecake Factory! We also hit the strip mall across from millenia where we tried the liquor store (OMG ..... so many types of alcohol you could almost feel drunk just looking!) and Kirkland Home too but sadly, we didn't buy much!

Back at home hubby was painting like the good bloke  he is! After a hard days work (by hubby, not me!) he deserved something so much better than a trip to the doctors his his persistent sinusitis but hey ....... he SHOULD feel better in a day or so.

And what did I get to make yesterday? I hear you asking (or is it just me?)

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Offcut of white card, ATC size and coloured using Distress Inks in Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord
  • Studiog Circles image inked in Color Box lavender and stamped twice
  • Studiog "bar code" stripes inked in Ranger Archival jet black across the bottom
  • Inkadinkado Morphing Birds image inked in Ranger Archival jet black
  • Gold paint, pearl paint and black ink used in conjunction with credit card and bottle caps to create the journalesque embellishments to the background
  • Faux crystal gemstone added, to finish
And then this quick little ATC

Materials used:
  • ATC blank coloured with Versamagic malted mauve
  • Kaisercraft mesh image inked with Versamagic malted mauve
  • Recollections floral flourish inked in Memento sweet plum
  • Inkadinkado sentiment and Recollections flourish inked in Memento grape jelly
  • Crystal stickles to highlight

Hoep you like my ATC's - look forward to reading your comments - have a great Thursday
