Morning and welcome to sketchie day!

Hello and welcome to Sketchie day - it's the turn of a Guest Design Team Member to present the sketch this week and it's the turn of Debs, with her twist of "A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES" - I've gone with an homage to black and white movie stars with my monochrome colour scheme and glorious image - hope you like it

Materials used:
  • 5" x 7" 300 gsm scallop edged white card and matching envelope
  • Black card panels with corners rounded
  • White panels with corners rounded
  • Papermania B&W themed designer paper with corners rounded
  • Silver thread
  • Paper Artsy starlet image inked in Memento tuxedo black on to a white card circle and then matted on to black and then white card (inked with my Paper Artsy splat image in Memento tuxedo black)
  • Inkadinkado partial sentiment (whole image has text at the top a star beneath and beneath that again further text reading .... that you are) inked in Memento tuxedo black.
  • Matted on to a black card panel
  • Two faux crystal gemstones
  • Three pieces of silver card candy
I also got round to making an ATC with some new stash ......

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • White card - ATC sized and coloured with Versamagic dusky pink
  • Kaisercraft netting image inked in Cats Eye creamy brown
  • Inkadinkado ink blot image inked in Cats Eye creamy brown
  • Inkadinkado sentiment inked in Ranger Archival jet black
  • Hampton Art (I think ...... I've lost the packaging) image inked in Ranger Archival jet black
  • Grounding for bird drawn with Marvy le plume II  marker and area beneath coloured with Distress Ink frayed burlap
  • Crackle glaze painted over the entire ATC and left to crack/dry before working frayed burlap in to the cracks
And here's a bit of a close up of the cracks ...

Over on the Simply Less Is More blog they have a theme for week #55 and it is to use PUNCHES or DIE CUTS. Check it out - some awesome DT cards and entries ...

Have a Super Saturday
