Hello dear readers

Monday again,

Birthday wishes for my pal, Wynneth today - can't tell you how old she is because then I'm afraid I would probably have to kill you ...... before she killed me for giving the game away!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend, how was the weather? We had a cold front ..... well there were people wandering about all bundled up in coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots - Whilst we're from generally colder climes and are still wandering about with short sleeves!! Been out for a walk this morning in T-Shirt and shorts and passed people who are obviously feeling cold. Our lovely neighbours say they took a while to become acclimatised but knew they had when they went to Disney to see the fireworks and came home early because they felt cold!!

Nothing on the telly - honestly, 300 channels and STILL nothing to watch - what's that all about? There's only so much NCIS, How I met your mother and Big Bang Theory we could watch so, by 8pm the TV was off!

Managed a little crafting - ATC's mostly. I made three of the little blighters! I don't necessarily plan my crafting it just sort of grows organically and one didn't turn out to be my best effort so is unlikely to appear on here - the other two?

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • White card cut to ATC size and covered with Spun sugar distress stain - two coats
  • Distress Inks: Worn Lipstick, Barn Door
  • Kaisercraft mesh image inked in Memento sweet plum
  • Water spritzed and dried with hairdryer
  • Inkadinkado ink blot inked with Memento sweet plum several times
  • Hampton Art steampunk woman image inked with Ranger Archival jet black
  • Fancypants designs sentiment inked in Memento rhubarb stalk

Materials used:
  • ATC blank covered with patterned yellow paper
  • Fiskars banner punch used to cut our DCWV card in various colours
  • Fancypants designs foliage inked in studiog olive ink
  • Faux crystal gemstone placed at the apex of each complete pennant
  • Fiskars sentiment inked in Ranger Archival jet black
  • Crystal stickles to highlight
Hope you like my ATC's - certainly look forward to hearing your comments. My little pile of ATC's is sure growing, isn't it? I COULD enter the yellow ATC for the March challenge on the Monthly Craft Challenge group as the theme is, indeed, YELLOW!!!

Have a fabulous Monday and (if you've had bad weather over the weekend) hope your weather's turned nice again.
