More makes for Monday

Hi there,

Monday again and I hope you all had a good weekend.

Over here it was Mothers Day yesterday and we decided that all the restaurants would be absolutely manic so we chose to eat in! However, our neighbour (Sally) was taken out to lunch in order to celebrate, she didn't know where she was being taken as her son had made the booking. Apparently, he chose Benny Hana's (apologies if the spelling isn't quite right there) which we have heard of but have never been to ..... it seems unlikely now that we will as Sally came round to tell us that the food had been very good but at $130 for two she didn't think it was quite THAT good!!! WOW, that's steep.

Decided I couldn't leave those wonderful Dylusion inks and templates in their packaging any longer so thought I would make ATC's - only managed one so for but here's the background laid down with Distress Inks blended and also sponged through part of the template and then sprayed with the Dylusions Ink ..... regrettably, I hadn't really thought it through and struggled to find a suitable image - hope you think it kind of works when you look at the AFTER shot!!

And now to share the finished ATC with you ....

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Distress Inks: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Frayed Burlap
  • Dylusions template with Frayed Burlap sponged through
  • Dylusions ink in bubblegum pink sprayed through a different part of the same Dylusions template
  • Studio112 image inked in Color Box bronze and then Pearlex Blue russet mica powder brushed over image and set with cheap hairspray
Hope you like my before and after shots - sorry about the colour in the second photo but it's gone over all dark and cloudy and that's about as good as it's going to get today!

Have a good day

Cor that is steep.
Great end result. I saw these inks in Craft Stamper about a year ago and was smitten although they were hard to get hold of back then. May have to have another look.
As ever, great inspiration.
