Sunday morning and all's well

Morning all,

I've posted twice already today - go figure - so if you've arrived here then please don't forget to check out my other post here - I got Pan Pastels!!! and yes, I AM excited about this!!

Rosie had set a super challenge for the Craftbubble group Craft Mad and Loving It group and it was ....... OCCUPATIONS!! Unfortunately, but for the best of reasons, the weekly challenges have ceased and a new monthly challenge is set to start in June. Well, I had been stumped by Rosie's planned challenge until I remembered that I had the perfect stamp combination (which I bought originally for my surrogate Son-In-Law, who happens to be a chef!) so I decided to go ahead with it anyway ........... Hope you like it.

Materials used:
  • 300gsm 15cm square scallop edged card and matching envelope
  • 14cm square panel of white card - with a border created using a stampers anonymous check image inked in Memento Paris Dusk
  • 12½cm square panel of white card
  • GoKreate fancy rectangle die used with white card to create two nesting shapes, the larger one stamped the same as above
  • Art Impressions chef image inked in Memento tuxedo black on to the smaller rectangle, coloured using alcohol markers and glitter pens before matting on to the larger rectangle
  • Art Impressions sentiment inked in Memento tuxedo black on to white card and cut to an interesting shape.
  • White card inked randomly with the stampers anonymous check image in Memento Paris Dusk and, once sentiment adhered on to the patterned panel, cut fairly close with scissors.
  • Three blue "oil on water" effect gemstones adhered to corners to embellish

Have a great, and relaxing, Sunday peeps.
