I'm baaaaack!!!

Hi folks,

The Purple Princess has been away for a couple of days, visiting friends in Cornwall and staying at a fabulous resort - imagine our surprise when we checked in to our room and found it had been regally decorated with a certain Purple Princess in mind!!!

Once settled, I decided that I should relinquish my throne in favour of the table of craftiness at Wynneth's, over a cuppa!!! Perfick, she and her hubby (Mr Tom) made us exceptionally welcome and young TTWD (Tilly The Wonder Dog) conceded that playing with my hubby was her new "favourite thing"!!! We settled in to the serious business of crafting our socks of f before before eating the delicious Thai curry that Wynneth and her sous chef Mr Tom had prepared for us!

Crafting like crazy!

TTWD and her new fave pastime!

Tuesday saw us heading out separately, the boys found something to amuse themselves for the day and you can all IMAGINE what the girls found to get up to!

A visit to Buckfastleigh for the boys

Wynneth and I headed off to Kelly Bray to an art shop where we spent a happy hour or so .... before heading up Kit Hill and then lunching at Louis Tea Rooms - unfortunately, I have no photos of this experience as my hubby took the camera with him. I'm sure you can find some on Wynneth's blog over the coming days, Louis Tea Rooms was such fun, before we even got in through the door we had been introduced to Seamus (a dachshund), Cody (a hearing dog in training) and Molly (a labradoodle and, sadly, a failed hearing dog). A sausage sandwich for lunch and then it was back outside to spot the geese, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs - awwww.

Back to Chez Wynneth with our stash and more crafting before heading out to a lovely Italian restaurant in Plymouth for our evening meal.

Back to the hotel for a night cap!

This morning we were up and checked out and back to Chez Wynneth and Tom's for our breakfast, a little last minute crafting and then on the road home ...... where the washing awaited!!

Still, a fabulous break and our thanks to Wynneth and Mr Tom for being so hospitable - can't wait till we can do it all again.

Here's what I bought and below that is what I made whilst crafting with Wynneth ......

Happy Wednesday
