Happy Saturday peeps

Hi folks,

Another weekend? Got plans? We're out this evening with our neighbours, Sally and Roger but we have no idea (at this moment) where we're going! Last week it was the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa so it really could be anywhere!

Saturday's are usually challenge days for me and there's always a new challenge posted by the lovely Chrissie and Mandi over on the Simply Less Is More blog - why not check it out? I never thought that the Clean And Simple style was for me but, now I've tried it, I find I LOVE IT! This week's challenge is a colour challenge and they've chosen: SILVER

Managed some more crafting yesterday which I'd like to share with you this morning ....

Card number one is a Christmas card and card number two is an anniversary card, I've used red for two reasons: 1) I think it looks great with the image and 2) I sort of had a ruby anniversary in mind - hope you like them both.

Materials used:
  • White 300 gsm scallop edged C6 card and matching envelope
  • Black card (9.5 x 14 cm)
  • DCWV Winter stack patterned paper (9 x 13.5 cm)
  • Inkadinkado Cardinal image inked using Hero Arts black dye ink on to white card
  • Distress Inks Barn Door and Wild Honey used as water colour to colour image
  • Green and black card to mat
  • Corner rounder

Materials used:
  • White 300 gsm scallop edged C6 card and matching envelope
  • Sparkle 'n Sprinkle image inked using Hero Arts black dye ink on to white card panel.
  • Copic R29 used to colour image
  • Imagine That sentiment inked directly on to base card using Hero Arts black dye ink
  • Black card and white card edged using R29 copic marker, to co-ordinate with image
  • Corner rounder
And now, of course, I'd like to share a photo of our guard gecko! He (or she) seems to have taken  up residence on the patio door leading out on to the pool deck and doesn't seem bothered by our using this door to go in and out either!!!

Our good friend (and neighbour), Debbie, sent us off armed with a few of her excess dollars and with the instruction to buy ourselves a beer and then to post a photo on my blog so ...... here are the dollars!!!

So last night we were able to redeem these dollars for BEER!!! It's two for one at Manny's .....

A lovely pair!!! Two for one!
Decisions, decisions - too many choices - it'll be a steak but which one?!?!?

OMG!! Isn't that half a cow?

It's OK - these were between the FIVE of us!

Have a happy Saturday peeps, it's out with the neighbours tonight - oopsie.
