Sorry I'm late Saturday!

Afternoon/evening all,

Sorry to be so late posting today but I've been out for the day with a fellow crafter and only just had time to make a card for a challenge and so I'm here to post it!

This is for the Simply Less Is More challenge which, this week, is a One Layer Card featuring WINGS ...

Materials used:
  • 12.5cm square white, 250 gsm card and matching envelope
  • Stampabilities winged heart image inked twice and Imagine That sentiment inked using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Marvy le plume II red marker used to colour heart
  • Crystal stickles to highlight/add twinkle
  • Joann dollar special self adhesive embellies which look like rivets!

Hope you like it.

Anyway, this morning we were up at the crack of dawn (felt like it anyway .... ) and headed off to Wynneth and Tom's place where we decided who was taking which car where!

The boys headed off to Wings and Waves air show in Daytona and the girls headed off to Lakeland ..... first stop .... the mighty Violette's where we chatted with Diana who has just spent the last few days in the presence of crafting Royalty. Well, Sir Tim of Holtz AND Dyan Reavely. She was able to show us a make of hers though she didn't have her camera in the store today to show us the photos - darn it!!! No matter we enjoyed hearing about her time and Dyan's RED hair!

Next it was across to HobbyLobby as I had bought the stamp set used for the above LIM card and young Wynneth reckoned she couldn't go home without it too!

Next stop was Target, for refreshments in their Starbucks - salted caramel frapuccino's with a blueberry scone which we were calling lunch!! and then it was next door and in to Michaels for some liquid gold leaf - for a project I have in mind involving embossing and alcohol inks with metallic tape!! From there it was on to Joann's where Wynneth found some quilting goodies and I bought something for my Secret Santa. Then we decided we were shopped out so headed home ...... to a refreshing glass of iced tea and the table of craftiness - YEE HAA!!

Happy Saturday/Sunday (since I'm so blooming late!)
