Tuesday update

Hi everyone,

Yesterday we headed off to Tampa ....... with a view to visiting Sparkle 'n Sprinkle in Ruskin and then Whimsodoodle in St Petersburg followed by lunch at the Daiquiri Shak in St Pete's beach - sound perfect? We thought so too.

Wynneth and Tom picked us up at 10:00 and we headed off, our directions for Sparkle 'n Sprinkle were flawless and Margaret (the owner) welcomed us and showed us round. She introduced us to Mudd Puddles - still thinking about that. Wynneth and I kept picking up the same things and saying "gotta have this" ..... some only had one on the shelf - but that's OK because Margaret makes her own images on the premises in just about 8 minutes so we had about five made before we left! Lucky for us the boys found McDonalds across the parking lot so amused themselves with coffee and frappuccinos in there till we were done

Next it was off to Whimsodoodle in St Petersburg, the boys were getting a little fractious by now and offered us just 30 minutes shopping - honestly, it was like the ending of Benny Hill (for those old enough to remember!!!) - but we did our best!

Serial shoppers!!

And here's my haul!

Next we decided we'd worked up an appetite so it was off to the Daiquiri Shak

BUY ONE GET ONE FREE lunch pail!!!

Well it SAYS no fishing ...... but they surely don't meanME!!!

Then it was back to our place and the boys went on-line and the girls set to work with the project acquired at Violettes just a few days ago .....

Wynneth's spine in progress

My spine and cover

Wynneth's pockets - "my precious"!

The outside of my finished project

Wynneth's finished project

Vital components - baby wipes and wine!!!

And my finished project ......

We both thoroughly enjoyed this project and had a ball making it - not to say hysterics over a misunderstanding regarding "mitre-ing"!!!! Oh my - good job neither of us was wearing mascara!!!.

Hope you've enjoyed your craft session with Wynneth and I - Happy Tuesday

WOW! Fab project Kathy. Very wise to have some liquid refreshment standing by too. I only hope you didn't get the glass of wine and the baby wipes mixed up. That would be UNTHINKABLE!!! You all look like you're having a thoroughly fantastic time...
