Is it soggy and wild with you this morning? Oh My Goodness, it's been raining a lot this past week and I feel for all those in the flood warning areas living on lower ground. More rain coming today so please take all precautions and stay safe.
Having been in a crafting desert all week - what's with one blooming Christmas tag since last Sunday!!!???? Of course, with Saturday seeing a new challenge over on the Simply Less Is More blog there was always the possibility that the drought was over!!! And the new challenge? It's: GLAMOUR AND GLITZ!
- 300gsm white deckle edged card and matching envelope
- Black card for matting
- Rubber Stampede image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink - reckon she looks glamorous - don't you?
- With a Quickie glue pen I drew over the glamorous young lady's boots, handbag clasp, necklace and earring and set aside to let it dry to clear and tacky before laying a sheet of copper foil over the image and burnishing.
- Additionally, I added a quick zig zag of stickles in frosted lace (to ground the image) and two faux crystal gemstones to complete the glamour and glitz look of the otherwise monochrome card
