And HELLO MONDAY!!!

Hi there,

Another week begins but at least this one's warmer than the last one!! I  hope you have similar weather where you are too

I've made a card for the Pan Pastels challenge: BUTTON, BOW, BRAD. It's little more "twee" than my usual card (of late) but was fun to make and used up some of my much neglected supplies (brads and buttons!) - not sure why I fell out of love with this style as I love the card! See what you think ....

Materials used:
  • 12.5cm square white, 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Black card for matting
  • DCWV embossed polka dot card
  • Recollections image stamped using Memento tuxedo black and coloured using alcohol markers
  • Crystal stickles to highlight cupcake "icing"
  • Clearly Wordsworth sentiment stamped using Colorbox lime ink, cut out and matted on black card
  • Narrow white satin ribbon coloured using alcohol markers and threaded through a clear glitter button before tying in a bow
  • Two deep pink sugared brads

And then an ATC .....

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Inkadinkado "meadow" stamped using versamark ink before colouring with diarylide yellow and permanent red pan pastels
  • Studiog sentiment and TPC Studio foliage stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

And, finally, another card, this time using Pan Pastels. I was lucky enough to win the prize draw over on the Pan Pastels challenge blog recently and my prize was a starter kit, featuring permanent red and diarylide yellow pastels ....... see them in action here

Materials used:
  • 12cm square white 250 gsm card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Kraft and black card for matting
  • 10cm square white card panel
  • Inkadinkado "meadow" image stamped using versamark ink before applying diarylide yellow pan pastel
  • Inkylicious foliage image inked with versamark and stamped multiple times to create the illusion of "trees" and then pan pastel permanent red lightly applied. The image was then re-inked using Colorbox sienna ink and stamped again till I was happy with the appearance and density of the foliage
  • Clearly Wordsworth sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

Hope you approve of today's creativity!

Happy Monday

Wow! Perfect Pan Pastel Projects Purple Pal-o-mine. How's that for a bit of Monday Morning alliteration then? You impressed?

Lovely birthday card too. Good to see Mr Mojo packed his swimming trunks and decided to join you on vacation.

Absolutely approve! Love the effect the pan pastels give with those stamps - so beautiful.
Your button/brad card is a cracker, I can see why you'd want to make more. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is very cool too.
Finally warming up here, hope you are having a great time.
