Hi there and welcome to Monday

Albeit slightly late as I forgot to scheduled this from a draft post - DUH!

Welcoming new follower, Susie, from Austria - hope you'll fine the reason and time to stop by again soon.
Must be the fact we were at the wondrous Manny's restaurant last evening with our neighbours, Sally and Roger. Boy oh boy, their food is just great - the salads to die for. Sally ate too much salad and brought most of her steak home in a box - ooops!!!
The clever creative minds over at Pan Pastels decided to set a new challenge (#17) this week and their chosen theme was "DREAMS" - hmmmmmm. I also checked out another challenge where the theme was Over The Top - which could be applied to layers, materials etc so ...... despite LOOKING a little like CAS just check out the materials used in order to realise how OTT and hopefully DREAM like this project is .....
Materials used:
  • C5 Kraft card, 250 gsm and matching sized envelope
  • Black and Kraft card for matting
  • 300 gsm white card panel - another off cut in my attempt to slightly de-stash my card offcuts.
  • Water soluble wax crayons: sahara yellow, magenta, pink and violet
  • Wet wipe to blend
  • Distress Inks: worn lipstick and dusty concorde smooshed on to a craft mat, spritzed and then I wiped my panel through the inks before blotting with paper towel.
  • Recollections splats and drips stamped using Studiog plum and Colorbox white and gold inks
  • Stampers Anonymous harlequin partial image stamped randomly using D.I. worn lipstick
  • Hampton Art steampunk lady stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Hampton Art steampunk alarm clock stamped twice using Memento lilac posies
  • Tim Holtz "Dream" image stamped numerous times using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Tim Holtz "finger" image stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink, stamped off once first
Think you will agree that this is one OTT production!
Have a great Monday, hope you've all got sunshine - I know I do!

Defo OTT, Kathy! At a distance I thought she looked like I used to in the 60s with the big curlers in my hair. On closer look, yikes, that is some kinda dreamy dreaming goin' on up in her head all right! Well done!!
