It's Thursday and what are you lot up to?

Morning all,
Another lovely day here in paradise!! Hot and humid and sunny!! Hope you have some of this where you are too - got plans?, or are you saving yourselves for the weekend?
Have an ATC to share with you all today - and some new stash - a lovely set of "rock star" cling rubber stamps.

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Black card cut to ATC size
  • White card cut slightly smaller than an ATC size
  • Distress Stains: bundled sage and tumbled glass - for background
  • Kaisercraft mesh image stamped with Distress Ink in faded jeans
  • Inkylicious checkerboard stamped at the top and bottom using Distress Ink in weathered wood
  • Fiskars cogs stamped twice using Distress Ink in barn door
  • Fiskars words stamped using Versafine onyx black
  • Fiskars guitar image stamped on to white card using Versafine onyx black and cut out. Coloured using a Tim Holtz blending tool with residual ink
  • Fiskars star border stamped twice using ColorBox bronze
And here's the lush new stash I snagged in Joann's in its entirety .....

TPC Studio & Fiskars stamps, blades for my trimmer and Tim Holtz paper "string"

Of course, I COULDN'T leave this stash all by itself so simply HAD to have another go ....

Materials  used:
  • 300 gsm white, scallop edged C6 card and matching sized envelope
  • 14 x 9.5cm black card panel, with distressed edges
  • 13.5 c 9 cm DCWV card from the Olde World stack, with edges distressed
  • Cream paper "string" from the above stash haul!, tied in to a knot
  • Fiskars guitar image stamped on to white card using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Panel then distressed with a blending tool and Distress Inks in weathered wood and fired brick, before matting on to distress panel offcuts of the black and DCWV card
  • Fiskars SPECIAL sentiment and Inkadinkado "Birthday" stamped on to white card using Versafine onyx black ink, cut out, opposing corners rounded and then inked with the blending tool (without re-inking)

And this is the inside!, using the same stamps as the card

And another ATC using, you guessed it .....

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Black card, ATC size
  • DCWV card from their "Olde World" stack, cut slightly smaller than ATC size
  • Fiskars image stamped on to white card using Versafine onyx black ink and then glossy accents applied over the image (apart from the cartouche) and set aside to dry
  • Two holes punched in the DCWV layer and, using a crop-a-dile, two copper eyelets were set in to those holes
  • Twine threaded through the eyelets and knotted
  • Fiskars sentiments stamped on to the DCWV layer using Versafine onyx black ink

Have a great Thursday, however you plan to spend it. Just before I go I have to wish some pals a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today, that would be Liz and Di celebrating a regular birthday - have a good one ladies! and Mr Tom who's celebrating a milestone birthday - HAPPY ??th matey!
