Tuesday and all's well!

Hi there,
How's your day going? It's hot and muggy here but I know I shouldn't complain - not after such a long winter ...... which seemed to start sometime in 2011 I'm sure!
A little light crafting and some of the local wildlife to share today ....
Materials used:
  • C5 250 gsm Kraft card and matching sized envelope
  • Black, striped and Kraft card for matting - the striped card was part of a pad that Wynneth and I went halves on last time we shopped together ........ it's from Canvas Home Basics
  • Fiskars sentiment and image stamped on to white card using Versafine black ink.
  • Image panel was then coloured using a Tim Holtz blending tool and Distress Inks in scattered straw and black soot
  • Both the sentiment and image panel were then layered using off cuts of kraft, striped and black card.
  • The striped panel was punched three times using a crop-a-dile and a 3/8" eyelet set in each hole.
  • Seam binding was coloured using alcohol markers before threading through the eyelets and knotting
And the wildlife? A little brown anole (I think that's what he is but there was next to NO CHANCE I was going to get close enough for a better look before he/she scarpered!).
Just heard about a new papercraft show in Swindon, happening in September (28th and 29th) at the Steam Museum ....... here's what the organiser has posted:

The venue is Steam Museum in Swindon - loads of free parking, right next door to the McArthur Glen & fab event facilities - plus your partner gets the opportunity to browse around the steam railway museum while you shop, included in your ticket! What's not to like?....
Tickets will be on sale soon (£5) but please 'Like' their Facebook page at or follow on Twitter @PapercraftShow.

Happy Tuesday readers and followers!

Well, whatever he's called, he's a cute little lizard thaing isn't he. Awwwww.

Loving your gorgeous card. Very taken with the gorgeous stripey backing paper. A well put together project Your Purpleness, of which you can be justly proud.

Have a good day.
