Welcome to a potentially warm and sunny weekend!!! Yee Haa, SUMMER's here!

Morning all,
And another sunny (and blooming hot by U.K. standards) day here in paradise!!!
Had a few days away from card making and I can only assume this was because of the excesses (of the crafting variety, I hasten to add) of last weekend!!!
Anyhoo, here I am with one card which fits two challenges, the first being a second entry for the CASology "NEON" challenge and the other being a "POLKA DOT" challenge #109 from CASual Friday - hope you like the card ....
Materials used:
  • 12½cm square 300 gsm scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • 11½cm square white card panel edged using Distress Ink - squeezed lemonade
  • 11cm square white card panel
  • Post-its for masking my panel
  • Distress Ink in squeezed lemonade "swiped" across panel
  • Darkroom Door polka dot image inked up with Distress Ink picked raspberry
  • Inkadinkado argyle dog inked up using Versafine onyx black
And now for the Friday Funny, brought to you this week courtesy of Marsha in the U.S., thanks matey - ENJOY
"4   Worms In Church"

Four   worms and a lesson to be learned!!!!
A   minister decided that a visual demonstration would add  emphasis to his  Sunday sermon.

Four  worms were placed into four separate   jars.

The  first worm was put into a container of   alcohol.

The second worm was put into a container  of cigarette  smoke.

The third worm was put  into a container of chocolate  syrup.

The  fourth worm was put into a container of good clean   soil.

At the conclusion of the sermon, the  Minister reported the  following  results:

The first worm in alcohol . . .
.  . .  Dead

The   second worm in cigarette smoke . . .. Dead .

Third   worm in chocolate syrup . . . .. Dead

Fourth   worm, the one  in good clean soil ...                   Alive

So, at this point the Minister asked the congregation,
"What   did you learn from this demonstration?"

Maxine   was sitting in the back, having a crafty ciggie but quickly raised her hand and said . .  .
"As  long as you drink, smoke and eat  chocolate,
you  won't have worms!"

That  pretty much ended the  service

Have a great Friday and a FANTABULOUS weekend and, to Lauren and family .... HAPPY NEW PUPPY!!!

Hi Kathy!

Love the card - how cute is that little dog :)

Yup, it was the Visible Images guy we got the Bic pen trick from - and my Len just had to try a straw to prove it would work just as well. It didn't of course :)

Have a lovely weekend - today is set to be a scorcher already.

Hugs, Di xx

Oh my goodness. The argyle Scottie is too cute. I like how you did direct-to-paper with the ink and stamped over it. Very cool! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
