Welcome to Saturday peeps

Morning readers,

Hope you've had a good week and are raring to go this weekend - got plans?

We were at the local Italian last evening, Diromio's, with Sally and Roger and Wynneth and Tom and a good meal and evening was had by all. It's Sally's daughters birthday today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Bonnie.

One of my pals had to have a tooth removed recently so, I  hope you are feeling much better today, Debs. Enjoy that celebratory bottle of bubbly!

We've been having a splendid time with our friends, Wynneth and Tom. I even managed to run up a card whilst Wynneth was on the phone to her dad the other evening!!!

Materials used:
  • White Bristol board C6 card and matching sized envelope
  • Black card for matting
  • White card for image panel
  • Kaisercraft "distress" image stamped using Brilliance orchid ink
  • Kaisercraft "numerals" image stamped using Brilliance purple ink
  • Penny Black "Iris" image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

As is my usual habit of late, I continued the card design across the insert and envelope.

Then I decided it was time to break out my Recollections monsters - they are just so darn cute, don't you agree?.
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Black card offcut, ATC sized too! How handy was that?
  • Recollections sentiment and image stamped on to white card offcut using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Alcohol markers to colour
  • I cut round the monster image and sentiment before running through my Xyron sticker maker and then adhering to the ATC blank
  • Studiog foliage image stamped around the image using Color Box silver ink
And another ATC using my new punchinella image

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Off cut of white card cut to ATC size
  • Stampington "punchinella" image stamped using Brilliance orchid ink
  • Kaisercraft "numerals" image stamped using Brilliance purple ink
  • Penny Black "Iris" image and Studio112 sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

And over on Simply Less Is More their new challenge is one of those pesky One Layer Cards .... with the challenge of "WITCHES AND WIZARDS or MONSTERS" .....

Materials used:
  • White C5 card and matching  sized envelope
  • Hampton Arts outlines image stamped on to base card using Memento tuxedo black
  • Alcohol markers to colour
  • Silver and Clear Sakura glitter pens to add twinkle to the moon and star images

I  hope a witches "familiar" in a witches hat will count .... I only have limited stash access and have no appropriate sentiment so I'll have to wait till I get home to add something suitable.

Happy Saturday, these are normally challenge days for me so I may well be back later with yet more crafting - have a good one!

You can make a card while Wyneth is on the phone? You are such a fast crafter, I would only have had the start if an idea in that time. Great pieces.
