What fun we had!

Sorry to be so late with this post peeps but I was so tired last night that I simply didn't get round to shrinking my photos before my blinks got too long!!!

Yesterday, Wynneth and I were at Violettes, for our starbook class .... we had a blast though it didn't start off too well and I was all but ready to quit about ten minutes in - glad I didn't though. AND we almost managed to finish the book too. Both of us decided to leave our pages separately until we'd finished "primping" them so brought them home like that. The photos below showing the finished star book (cover shots and sample page) are therefore Florence's example. The kit provided included all of our cards, papers and embellishments though we had to take our own basics, like glue, scissors etc - fortunately we had enough kit with us!!!

This is the completed star book and the reason for it's name!

This is starting to look like fun!

Our basic pages, assembled
Once our class was finished and the boys had picked us up outside, we headed a mile or so up the road - to Lake Morton, for a walk around before dinner

Lake Morton

It was THIIIIIIIIIIS big!!!!

Dinner was at the Lakeland Texas Roadhouse and was truly delicious, so delicious in fact, that there was no time to take a photo!! Sorry.

On our way home along the Polk Parkway we caught the most GORGEOUS sunset .... and I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you.

Isn't this a fabulous sunset?

Have a great Monday everyone

Never apologise for sending us a lovely sunset - don't seem to get many of those here. That card looks a tad complicated, I can understand why you almost quit, but glad you didn't.

Beautiful sunset Kathy, show them to us whenever you want! I didn't realise you were back in Florida, I like how you migrate too, just like the cranes lol! Was that Bill and Pearl who were trying to dine at the Texas Roadhouse on an earlier post? No wonder Fred wants to go and join them! Love the star book, glad it all came together in the end.
