Welcome to the start of another week

Hi there readers

Another Monday has rolled around. Hope you had a great weekend. Ours was interesting. Saturday was wet and wild and we opted for a PJ day, not leaving the house. At least we didn't get soaked! If you saw my blog post for Saturday you will have seen the short vid of the rain!!! Sunday dawned, clocks changed but we didn't feel the benefit, having both been up in the night as the result of something we ate! Ooops!

We had been going out to dinner with our lovely neighbours too, which would have been good, but Sally's had a chest infection and didn't feel up for it. So, instead, we called in for drinks after heading out to dinner just the two of us.

Got a photo of a great sunset too .... see below

Managed to fit in a little crafting and, recently, I've been trying to use up some scraps of card, see below .....

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Off cuts of card in Black, chocolate and Kraft plus an odd striped piece by Canvas Corp
  • Four eyelets, tarnished brass
  • Stampers Anonymous ruler image stamped using Versafine vintage sepia ink
  • Stampers Anonymous hand and Inkadinkado sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
And another one using an ATC sized piece of white card ......

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • White card off cut
  • Recollections text image stamped using Brilliance orchid ink
  • Recollections variety of splatter images stamped using Brilliance orchid and Studiog purple inks
  • Brilliance purple ink swiped around the edge of the ATC
  • TPC Studio and Penny Black image (from the Tweet Tweet set) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

Have a great Monday

PJ day sounds good to me Kathy. Love your ATC with the glitter, it looks so pretty and fresh.
We went out for dinner yesterday too, another lamb steak for me! I really must try new things -lol!
No plans to get to the UK just yet as the children are in school. All are doing very well though and once I have a date I shall let you know. Seems like forever since we last caught up.
Have a lovely week Kathy,
Katie x

Beautiful sunset, Kathy, and crafting!! When we get away from commenting, then it slips away from us, doesn't it? I had a lot of catching up to do on your blog, but it sure was fun! (That rain was LOUD!) You always have so much fun and I enjoy all that you share!! Hugs, Darnell
