Happy Mothers Day

Hi there,

Happy Mothers Day to my U.K. readers and to all who don't celebrate it too! Me? Neither hubby nor I still have our beloved mum's so it's just another day to us, although we reflect on the times when we did.
I have a card to share with you today .....  Sketch Saturday's new challenge says you can pick your fave sketch from numbers 215 - 302! I was rather taken with number 217, so, here's my card:-

My card, using the sketch below

And the co-ordinating inside and envelope - the design is on the  front too

Materials used:
  • 12½cm square white, 300 gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 12cm and 11½cm white card panels plus off cuts of white card and patterned card (DCWV grandma's kids)
  • Memento sweet plum used to make a coloured border on the larger white card layers
  • Kaisercraft "tiny dots" stamped on to the background white card panel
  • Stampington's "punchinella" image stamped numerous times using Brilliance orchid ink
  • Stampers Anonymous "cupcake" image (from blueprint mini set acquired recently) stamped using Memento sweet plum ink
  • Penny Black sentiment (from the "tweet tweet" set of clear stamps) stamped on to white card off cut using Memento tuxedo black and cut in to a banner shape and mounting on to a sweet plum coloured panel
  • Offcut of my DCWV card mounted on to a sweet plum bordered panel
  • Glitter "droplets" to embellish and finish

You can see from the bottom photo that I carried my design across to the inside of the card and both the front and back of the envelope too - I like this co-ordinated effect and usually do this though I don't always photograph it too. Since I used snippets I shall be entering this across at the new challenge over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop too!

And, as per their instructions, here's the sketch I selected:-
CAS on Sunday's new challenge is to use stitching (faux or real) on a project,  so I may be working on that next, although, it IS a gorgeous sunny day outside - and still only a little after 10:00!!!

Have a great Mothers Day/Sunday

Second post - I'm back with some challenge entries ..

Since our weather forecast for the day is intermittent thunder storms and we were certainly wakened during the night by the rain, it seems silly to make big plans for the day so .... it was off to the table of craftiness for me. As a result I'm back with a card which fits two challenges, if you missed my earlier (and slightly purple) post then follow this link.
My card fits both the Simply Less Is More lucky dip challenge of "Round and Round" and the new challenge over at Addicted to CAS where their codeword challenge is: "Wheels" - I think you will see what I mean ... I've gone with punchinella in the background (circles) and train wheels which certainly go round and round!!
Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • 14cm square chocolate and 13½cm square Kraft card panels for matting
  • 13cm square white card panel on to which I "swiped" Distress Ink in antique linen (turns out it's not a colour I use as much as I thought I would when I bought it! Always good to use seldom used stash!
  • Stampington "punchinella" image stamped in the same D.I.
  • Prima "train" image stamped crisply using Versafine onyx black ink
  • TPC Studio sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink too

Have a great Saturday

Saturday chat

Morning peeps,
Here we are at the weekend once more - got plans?
The sun is shining and it's a lovely day here but I have NO IDEA what the day will bring ... I suspect that we might either go out to dinner or get takeout this evening. We would normally be meeting our neighbours for dinner but Sally and Roger have company this weekend so we've postponed - hope we can get to dinner with them soon.
It's also normally a challenge day for me and today is probably not going to be any different, despite my limited stash availability presently.
The card I have to share with you today is for the new challenge over at CAS-ual Friday, where their challenge is: "GOOD EGG or OVALS", here's my take on the challenge
Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Die cut plain and scalloped ovals in white card
  • Scallop edged oval coloured using Studiog light purple ink
  • Plain oval coloured using Studiog light purple ink but lightly!
  • Kaisercraft "tiny dots" image stamped using
  • Kaisercraft "grid" image stamped using Memento grape jelly ink
  • Inkadinkado image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Recollections banner image stamped on to white card  using Memento grape jelly ink and then cut out before adhering using dimensional tape
  • TPC Studio sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
I imagine I may well be working on some other challenges later, which I hope to be able to share with you tomorrow.

Have a great weekend

Welcome to both the weekend AND the Friday Funny!

Morning all
Well, I was right about it being a good week and I hope your week has been likewise. Got plans for the weekend? I'm hoping we'll manage to meet up with some friends but we'll just have to wait and see how that pans out!
I recently mentioned a new Rudolph Day challenge over on craftbubble 2½ (registration required). The new challenge was to embellish ...... my recent style has been way more CAS and this was quite difficult for me but, I'm no quitter!
Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 14cm square black card panel
  • 13½cm square grey card panel
  • 13cm square white card panel
  • Kaisercraft "script" image stamped three times on the white card panel using Versamark ink and then pan pastel in red applied using a Sofft tool, buffed and then set using hairspray and set aside to dry
  • 18cm length of white lace attached to this backing panel
  • Christmas Tilda image stamped on to white card using Memento tuxedo black ink and cut out
  • Alcohol markers used to colour the image
  • White card and Black card fancy rectangle die cuts
  • Distress Inks in worn lipstick and barn door applied using a Tim Holtz blending tool and foam pad
  • Kaisercraft "triangles" stamped using Distress Ink in barn door
  • Two holes punched using my crop-a-dile before adding two "sugared" silver brads as embellishments
I'm debating a couple of faux gemstones, perhaps at each end of the message banner - your thoughts readers?

And now for the Friday Funny, this week courtesy of my pal SandraT - thanks matey, you're in the draw. To the rest of you .... ENJOY
Why am I Divorced?

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning. I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my husband would be pleasant and say, 'Happy Birthday!',  and possibly have a small present for me.

As it turned out, he barely said good morning, let alone 'Happy Birthday.'

I thought...... well, that's marriage for you, but the kids.... they will remember.

My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfasts and didn't say a word.

So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office, my handsome Boss Rick, said, 'Good Morning, lady, and by the way "Happy Birthday!"

It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock, when Rick knocked on my door and said, 'You know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch,  just you and me....'

I said, 'Thanks, Rick, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!'

We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. He chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, Rick said, 'You know, it's such a beautiful day... we don't need to go straight back to the office, do we?'

I responded, 'I guess not.

What do you have in mind?'

He said, 'Let's drop by my place, it's just around the corner.'

After arriving at his house, Rick turned to me and said, If you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I'll be right back.'

'Ok.' I nervously replied.

He went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, he came out carrying a huge birthday cake ....

followed by my husband, my kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing 'Happy Birthday'.

And I just sat there....

On the couch......

I know, you probably ALL saw that punchline coming but .... still funny!!!
Have a great weekend everyone

Good morning and welcome to What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday

and who would believe that it would be the last one in March ..... I can scarcely believe that today is the 26th and that next week it will be (gulp!) APRIL - where's the year going? Best I start my Christmas shopping as it will be here before we know it ... at this rate!
Hmm - Hands up .... how many of you have started your Christmas card makes? And how many of you fully intended to but haven't made a single one? I'm feeling smugly self righteous here as I've made around 30 so far and am on target for my quota. I aim to make eight per month ... got ahead of myself in January and fell behind in February but am still around where I needed to be about now - HUZZAH! If I can carry on like this then there should be no last minute panic for me in 2014 - wish me luck!
Yesterday saw the launch of a couple of Rudolph Challenges and I shall be attempting to enter both of these over the next day or so! Sarn has a R.D. challenge here and over on Craftbubble 2½ (registration required to participate) there is one set by Julie this month, on the Craft Mad and Loving It group

Sarn's Rudolph Day challenge insists on two entries so I shall be entering both of the cards below in that challenge (see above link). Additionally, I shall be entering the Three Presents as another entry for the "THREE" challenge over at Simply Less Is More as well as the "ALL WRAPPED UP" challenge over at CraftyHazelnutsChristmas Challenge and for the Christmas "ANYTHING GOES" at Completely Christmas whilst the Christmas Tree card will be entered for the "METALLICS" challenge over on the Pan Pastels own blog .... so, without further ado, here are my two cards to share with you today ...

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • Off cuts of card in yellow, red and white
  • Unknown parcel image/sentiment stamped on to white card using Memento tuxedo black (I THINK this image MAY be by Dimension Forth but it's ten years old or more ....)
  • Alcohol markers, copic Atyou Spica black glitter pen and stardust stickles used to colour and highlight

Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • Black card and DCWV "linen" texture red card.
  • I ran the main panel of red card through my big shot inside an embossing folder
  • I then applied Versamark ink all over the raised area before applying pan pastel metallic in bright gold to the inked area, buffing and then setting with hairspray
  • Stamplorations tree image stamped on to a small white card panel using Versamark ink before applying phthalo green and silver metallic pan pastel, buffing and then setting with hairspray and then mounting on to another off cut of red and then black card
  • I had a strip of the DCWV card and stamped my Hero Arts sentiment centrally before adhering my image panel
So, that's not only two more Christmas cards for my collection but I can enter FIVE challenges in total - not bad!!! Of course, if I can then there's also the new Merry Monday challenge - this week it's a colour challenge:

Have a great Wednesday

Morning and welcome to another week

Morning all,
Going to be a good week for me, I feel it in my bones! That said, Sunday started off sunny but rain wasn't far behind! I can't let that bother me this week though!

I've been on a bit of a crafting roll this past few days and have amassed a good few birthday cards on the way - must get back to my Christmas cards soon (fortunately a couple of new Rudolph Day challenges will be launched tomorrow). With the card I'm sharing today I have even managed to ink up a never before inked image and what a sweetie he is too - though I had to read the packaging twice because I couldn't believe it was a FOX!!! AND some snippets of card too - OH YEAH ... on a roll!

Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Neon yellow and lime offcuts for matting
  • Sugar Nellie "Ferdie Fox" (yes, that's what it says) stamped on to a white card off cut using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Alcohol markers to colour
  • Stardust stickles to highlight
  • CAS-ual Fridays sentiment stamped on to the yellow card layer using Memento tuxedo black

As is my habit these days I stamped the image and sentiment on both the front and back of the envelope as well as the inside of the card - though I did stamp the image in Memento London fog on the card inner - just in case it was necessary to write over the image! Hope you like my card - yet another forgotten cute image - all I USED to make were cutesie cards - how my crafting has changed over time! I guess everyone else already knows this though, through their own crafting!
I may be set up for a great week but one of my crafting pals is not having such a great time and that's the lovely Sir Andy of Stafford. Poor chap's in hospital right now, with a very high temperature and dehydration - sending best wishes and get well vibes to you matey. His family are all, no doubt, worrying for England on his behalf and keeping me updated. Feel better soon Sir AofS and, Wynneth, try not to worry too much.
Happy Monday

Morning and welcome to Sunday

Hi folks,
How's your Sunday going to be shaping up? Hope it's going to be as nice today as yesterday turned out to be - lovely sunshine and reasonably mild - could have done with it being warmer but, hey, let's not get too picky ...... it wasn't raining so that was a result in my book.

I was reading one tabloid paper yesterday and saw the headlines "after all that rain, here comes the drought"!!! Oh, surely NOT!!! I thought I must have fallen asleep for a couple of days and woken up on April 1st! Hmm - REALLY? DROUGHT? Let's hope not.

I've a "Happy Hour" ATC to share with you this morning ..... hope this doesn't ring too many bells with fellow crafters this morning!!!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • White card snippets
  • ATC sized white snippet "swiped" with Distress Inks in picked raspberry and festive berries
  • Stampers Anonymous "circles" image stamped using Distress Ink in picked raspberry (ever since Craftathon I've not been able to think of this colour without thinking PICKLED instead of picked - thanks to my fellow craftathoniers!!!)
  • Kaisercraft "grid" image stamped using Memento rhubarb stalk (how I LOVE my Kaisers to build up a layered background)
  • Sparkle 'n Sprinkle sentiments stamped on to white card using Memento tuxedo black ink, cut out and the dabbed and swiped with D.I. picked (or IS it pickled!) raspberry - the larger sentiment also had the Kaiser "grid" image stamped too
  • Sparkle 'n Sprinkle "Max" image - isn't he cute too? - stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Alcohol markers to colour "Max" before fussy cutting him out and adhering him to my ATC

Cheers! You can see this fabulous set (in it's entirety)  below and can buy it here

Here's a little snippet make I came up with - I shall be entering it for Di's weekly challenge over at the Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Off cuts (aka SNIPPETS) of card in: orange, brown, yellow and white
  • Penny Black image (from their fabulous Allegro" set of clear stamps) stamped on to white card using Memento pear tart ink
  • Twinkling H2O's sunburst, mixed with water and painted over the "flower" section of the stamped image
  • My Minds Eye "star" stamped on to yellow card using Memento tangelo ink and cut out
  • Two rectangles cut from orange card and corners rounded using a Fiskars corner rounder punch
  • Martha Stewart punch used to cut a floral border using the brown card
  • CASual Fridays sentiment stamped on to the lower orange panel using Memento tuxedo black ink.
Here's the envelope too ....

I use this Penny Black set quite a bit but this is the first time I've used this image - reckon I might be using it again - but I have no idea what flower it is - anyone? Looks to me like some kind of lily but, what do I know?!?!? Anyway, I shall be entering this card over at a couple of other challenges too, the first being the "Birthday card" challenge at The Card Concept where I will be entering it as another Clean and Graphic card, and also the sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday. See the sketch below, you will see I turned the sketch sideways for my card.

Here's their sketch

Have a great Sunday

Saturday challenge day ...... a little later than my usual posts but ....

Morning all,
Another Saturday has dawned fair and mild, despite the forecast ... ah well, guess they need a new piece of seaweed at the Met Office!!!

I normally post around 08:30 but wanted to have time to make a challenge card to include ..... didn't take as long as usual because, coincidentally, my inspiration was already in place from the first project below!!! Check it out!
I've an ATC to share with you today. If you saw my Wednesday post with the cutest little possum image then it should come as no surprise to you that it started me off on a mash up of my current fave technique of layered background but with a super cute image .... and here it is: -
Aren't these guys simply adorable too?
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • White card off cut, to just slightly larger than ATC size (to allow wiggle room over positioning)
  • Kaisercraft "Grunge" image stamped on to the white card using Memento dandelion ink
  • Kaisercraft "Triangles" image stamped using Memento pear tart ink
  • Kaisercraft "Tiny dots" image stamped using Memento tangelo ink
  • Stampers Anonymous "circles" stamped using Memento rosebud ink
  • Kaisercraft sentiment (from CS920 Friends mini set) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • ATC edged with Memento sweet plum, just to give some definition to the edge.
  • Inkadinkado three bear image stamped on to white card and fussy cut out
  • Alcohol markers to colour
  • Off cut of black card to mat my focal image and then cut round leaving a generous border
A simple looking ATC but which, as you can see, consists of a number of layered image to build up the background - did I overdo it? I don't THINK so .... do you?

And, actually, I'm thinking I could cut pieces of white card, black card, stamp the sentiment and image on to white card and then send the whole lot to my Isle of Skye trading card buddy and see what she comes up with - what do you think? Good idea/bad idea? Pretty sure that there is NO WAY she'll come up with the exact same treatment!

Being Saturday, this is my normal challenge day and today is no different - I skipped across to the Simply Less Is More blog and checked out their new challenge ... it's "THREE" they want to see three of something on your card and also ask that participants check out and comment on at least three other entry blog posts, shouldn't be too hard - SHOULD IT? In fact, I have almost the perfect image from the ATC above!!! Hmmmm ...... and half an hour later .....

Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300 gsm, scalloped card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Off cuts of card in white, black and orange
  • Inkadinkado bears image stamped on to white card using Memento tuxedo black and fussy cut out before mounting on to black card and cutting out again, this time leaving a border
  • Alcohol markers to colour
  • Go Kreate oval die used to cut an orange oval virtually the same size as the image
  • Imagine That sentiment stamped directly on to the card blank using Memento tuxedo black ink

And there you have my three's .... actually THREE of them: Three bears, three offcuts of card and three words to my sentiment!!! Yee Haa!!! Best I get off now and see if there are three other entries for me to comment on!! There are usually over 100 so it shouldn't be hard to find three!

The above card also fits with the "Birthday Card" challenge over at The Card Concept and one of the criteria is that you have to state which style you've selected ... this time I've gone with Clean and Graphic as I (technically) have too many layers to qualify as CAS!!!
Have a great Saturday

Friday, 21 March 2014

Yippee, it's FRIDAY!!!

That can only mean one thing .... it's time for a little "Happy Dance" (because it's the weekend) and a Friday Funny!
Hope you've all had a good week this week, I've had quite a sociable week again this week, with lunch and dinner with pals, several coffee dates with friends and a hair appointment too - see what I mean? AND the weather's been quite a bit better than of late, allowing me to head out wearing bare legs and sandals!!! YIKES, talk about extremes of weather then! Of course, I was ever so nearly home (with my new hair "do" and, as I walked down the path) the heavens opened - hmmmmmffff!
Anyway, a little light crafting made it all better! I've a few ATC's to share with you - I'm obsessed with splats and loved the last card I shared with you so made a couple more which are shown below but I couldn't resist sharing this 3D ATC first, with a "cute as a bug" possum image ....
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of double sided paper (plain side out) cut to ATC size too
  • Rubbadubbadoo image stamped on to white card using Memento tuxedo black and then fussy cut out
  • Alcohol markers and Stardust stickles to colour and highlight
  • Dimensional foam tape applied to the head and body and Cosmic Shimmer "dries clear" glue applied to the rest of the image
  • Imagine That sentiment stamped using Memento sweet plum ink

And a small batch of two ATC's next ....

Materials used:
  • ATC blanks
  • Yellow and white card for matting
  • Kaisercraft "stains" images stamped using Memento dandelion, tangelo, rosebud inks
  • Paperartsy "splatter" image stamped using Color Box gold ink
  • Imagine That sentiment stamped using Memento sweet plum ink

I do love to make ATC's - they take up so much less space than a card! AND I have several fab ATC swap buddy's - some of whom even mail me Friday Funny's ..... speaking of which - this week's Friday Funny came to me in an e-mail, courtesy of one of my ATC pals, PatG, you're in the draw Pat. Hope you will all enjoy this one ... it's called LIE DETECTOR
A father buys a lie detector robot that slaps you when you lie.
He decides to test it out on his son at supper. "Where were you last night?"
"I was at the library."
The robot slaps the son.
"OK I was at a friend's house," the son admits.
"Doing what?" asked the father.
"Watching a movie: Toy Story."
The robot slaps the son.
"OK it was porn!" cried the son.
Father yells "What? When I was your age I didn't know what porn was!"
The robot slaps the father.
The mother laughs and says, "He certainly is your son!"
The robot slaps the mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Have a great weekend everyone
Closest smiley I could find to a TGIF "Happy Dance"!!!

The playhouse is FINISHED! Huzzah! .... oh and it's WOYWDW too!

Morning - a disastrous crafting experience to share with you today! Also a couple of less disastrous pieces.
Hubby was out on Monday evening and I thought to myself "YIPPEE, I can craft my little socks off"! Just goes to show how wrong you can be! I made one card but it's far from my best effort and it seems destined for the bin. It SEEMED like such a simple project too, to make a Christmas card using Pink, Lime and white and combine it with the Stamplorations sketch .... hmmm - YOU TRY IT and let me know if you come as unstuck as I did! TWO separate cards would seem to be the way forward, one for the colour challenge and one for the Stamplorations sketch .... watch this space! Want to see the "disaaaster darling"?

Don't think I'll be entering this in to EITHER challenge!!!

No chance to craft on Tuesday morning as we were meeting up with friends for lunch - this is what retirement's all about! Table was booked for 12:30 and we finally left there shortly before 15:00 - it was so nice to catch up with these pals, they looked so well too but then, they HAD just returned from two weeks vacation in Egypt!

I was catching up on my correspondence during the afternoon - hubby was back at the surrogates siting a mirror! I was just "prettying up" the envelope with some Kaisercraft images and a Penny Black brushstrokes image - makes it more interesting, don't you think?

And then I found an idea playing around in my head ....

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • 12cm square panel of orange card
  • 11½cm square white card panel
  • Kaisercraft images from the "stains" set stamped using Memento: dandelion, tangelo and potters clay inks
  • Paper Artsy "splatter" image stamped using Memento rosebud ink
  • Imagine That sentiment stamped using Memento sweet plum ink

And we got the playhouse finished too - OK, so that was Monday but I haven't posted since then, so, here are some more photos - including Iris - mid meowwwwww! .... Becky says she does this - A LOT!
Iris adding her voice to the "action"!

The boys playing at the half way stage!

Zac trying to keep himself amused till the playhouse is ready

The inaugural "play" - trust me, the door doesn't lock so they're not trying to escape!

"Mummy" moving in all sorts of "schtuff" for Zac
I've a pal nipping round for coffee this afternoon though we've not made up our mind whether to head to the local coffee emporium or to buy cakes and stay home!! Could be a last minute decision and weather based as it's a 12 minute walk both to and from the coffee shop .... and rain IS forecast!

Since it IS Wednesday, it's time to share my super messy work desk again ..... memo to self: TIDY IT!

Happy Wednesday

Happy St. Patricks Day peeps

Morning all,
Happy St Patricks Day
The start of another week, for those of you at work - hope it goes well for you.

I have to say goodbye to one of my followers, not sure who you are but sorry to see you go - bye bye!

There are so many challenges launched over the weekend that it's hard to fit them all in, here are just a couple:

CAS on Sunday launched their latest challenge yesterday .... "One Layer Wonder"
Stamplorations have a new challenge today -

Merry Mondays .. use one or both of the challenges for a Christmas card
Sunday Sketch and Stamp have a new challenge too .....

And there's still time to play at Freshly Made Sketches where they have a fab sketch

But the sketch challenge does close later today so you better be quick if you want to enter!

So, which challenge did I choose to use for today's post? What a lot of fab sketches to choose from too. Well, being a CAS girl at heart it simply had to be this one ....

Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300 gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Offcuts of white card, cut to suit for image panel, chevron panel and layering
  • Little Yellow Bicycle Chevron banner stamped on to white card using Brilliance orchid ink and cut out
  • Old Town Crafts flower inked with Brilliance orchid and Memento bamboo before stamping on to image panel
  • Magenta foliage background image stamped using Brilliance orchid and stamped a second time without re-inking
  • I used the Brilliance orchid to edge the image panel and chevron patter matting layer
  • Finally I threaded some twine through a clear glittered button and tied off in a knot before adhering with glossy accents.

And, yes, you're all right .... it IS the Freshly Made Sketch challenge that I shall be entering this card for but I can also make it a second entry over at That Craft Place too. This is a birthday card clean and graphic design so will fit the "Birthday" challenge over at the Card Concept

Yesterday was a busy day for us too .... well, more like hubby really. The Surrogates had asked if he would give a hand erecting their youngest son's new playhouse so, off we went around 13:00 armed with drill, screwdrivers, spirit levels and all sorts of things that might be needed. Hmmmmm - here's how things looked around 13:15

Guess this site needs some levelling first then!
And here's how it looked a couple of hours later ....

Looking good, at least the roof is on!

It's still not finished, hubby will be there again later today but ........ it looks like Zac approves!

Then it was home for a quick shower before we headed north up the M5, to Gloucester, to dine with our friends, Sandra and Brian. We had a lovely evening just generally catching up on "stuff" and enjoyed a very nice meal too, with a mushroom starter, salmon wrapped in ham with hasselback potatoes and green veg and a coconut and ginger dessert - super yummy - thanks guys. Do you know that, at 23:15 the M5 is almost deserted ..... wish it could be like that during the day too!

Happy Monday
