Hey Hey, it's the weekend!

Morning all,
Here we are at Saturday again, hubby wants to cut the grass so ... guess what? Looks like rain!!!
Not that I care too much about the weather .... Saturday's are usually craft-y challenge days for me and I see no reason why this one should turn out any differently - only negative is that the light isn't great! Still, I'm no quitter!
Over at Simply Less Is More their new challenge is: "TO USE MORE THAN ONE STAMP"! Easy peasy challenge? You would think so, wouldn't you?

Materials used:
  • White C6, 300 gsm, scallop edged card and matching sized envelope
  • Snippet of card cut to 6cm square
  • Stampers Anonymous blueprint parcel stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Sofft sponge dragged across the panel without loading further colour (previous colours on sponge were violet and magenta) buffed with paper towel
  • Visible image ink splat image stamped randomly using Memento rosebud ink, trying to avoid stamping over the parcel
  • Paper Artsy splatter image stamped using Color Box gold, again, trying to avoid over stamping the parcel
  • Matted and layered on to snippets of black and pink card using my perfect layering rulers and a craft knife
  • Stamplorations grunge border image stamped centrally on to the base card using Memento rosebud ink
  • Stamplorations sentiment (from same set as border) stamped in frame using Versafine onyx black ink

WOW! More than one stamp? I notched up FIVE!!! And here's how I carried the design through to the inside of the card and to the front and rear of the envelope too .....

Last night saw me out to dinner with two friends I have known since my primary school days - heavens, I've known them a while! We went to a local Italian restaurant and had an extremely pleasant evening and a jolly nice meal - we really SHOULD do it more often as we struggle to get all our chat in between mouthfuls!
Have a great Saturday everyone - I may yet be back with more challenge makes!

Love your colour splats, Kathy! I must admit to originally thinking I didn't need to buy a stamp for splats, but it isn't as easy as I thought it would be to create that free and artsy look! You have created a fresh fun look in your card - and yes, I'm impressed with 5 stamps in total! Thanks for visiting my blog - I appreciate your feedback. Ann :)
