Lazy Sunday?

Morning all
Another Sunday morning but this one's different because it's the FIRST one in 2015!!!
My PC was playing silly beggars yesterday and was inaccessible (to me anyway) for several hours, which gave me time to have another play with my brushos!!! Wanna see?
Materials used:
  • White C5, 300gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Snippet of water colour (119lb) paper
  • Snippet of black card - for matting
  • Brushos in lemon, orange, scarlet and purple
  • Technique Tuesday image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Woodware sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to seal and protect the water based pigment
I'll be entering this for the following challenges:
  1. Happy Little Stampers - "Water Colour"
  2. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - "Snippets challenge"
  3. SuziB's blooming challenge - "Anything Goes ... with the twist Clean And Simple"
And another make to share:-

Haven't made an ATC for AGES!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of water colour paper (190gsm)
  • Brusho's in lemon and scarlet and a spritzer tool ..... I mixed the brushos with quite a lot of water, dropped on to the water colour paper and then directed using the spritzer tool.
  • Once dry, I stamped the Technique Tuesday rose image and the Hero Arts sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink
  • I stamped the Dylusions corner image using Versamark ink before sprinkling with Funstamps white embossing powder and heat embossing - I've really made an effort to get back in to using heat embossing again lately!

I'll be entering this for the following challenges:
  1. Craftbubble2½ (membership required), CMLI Quarterly challenge - "Use stamping + red/yellow"
  2. CraftyCatz - "Anything Goes"
  3. Pink Gem - "Something new" - my spritz tool
  4. Scribble and Scrap - "Anything Goes"
Thanks for stopping by - see you later in the week

Hi Kathy. I love how you get your brushos to blend so well. Love the gorgeous rainbow effect behind your beautiful silhouette rose. The ATC is also a beautiful mix of autumn shades and the rose really pops with the embossing. Thanks so much for playing along with us again this month at Happy Little Stampers! Loll xx

OMGosh, Loving those brusho background blends. Thanks to you & some other bloggers, I finally got a set when available from a USA source, but as yet haven't had time to try them out. What gorgeous cards they've helped you make, and it was lovely to see them at Pixie's Snippets Playground. Glad you got your pc sorted (love the expression Silly Beggars...much nicer than what I say in such times!). Hope your Christmas & New Year were just as perfect as you wanted, and that 2015 will be a banner year at your house. TFS & Hugs.
