DID YOU CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS this morning?

Morning all

In the U.K. our clocks changed overnight ..... did you remember? FORTUNATELY, we have a number of clocks (including our bedside/alarm clocks) which change themselves - thank goodness! Now it OFFICIALLY feels like spring DESPITE the truly horrible (to say nothing of UN spring like) weather we had yesterday and have woken up to again this morning! It was also blowing up a "hoolie" overnight, ensuring we lost more than just our one hour!!!

Watched THE daftest movie last night, with a truly preposterous plot .... LOOPER, anyone seen it? What was your opinion then?

Anyhoo, yesterday my new issue of Craft Stamper landed on the, slightly soggy, mat and I had been looking forward to this since the last issue unveiled what the free stamp with this issue was going to be. It's from Visible Image and is a flourish/border image. It will come as no surprise to you that I cracked open the baggy and whipped out the stamp and got it inky!!! I needed to make some ATC's as my stocks are seriously depleted so ...... they all use the same stamps AND the same colours (making batch makes so much easier) but I'd like to think they all look a little bit different - which is your favourite?

Number One
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of white card coloured using Distress Ink in shaded lilac
  • Visible Image C.S. fee stamp .. stamped in Distress Inks: shaded lilac, shabby shutters and picked raspberry
  • Clearly Inspired coneflower image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Crafters Companion Spray and Shine applied, to protect the water based colours

And on to the next:-

Number Two
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of white card coloured using Distress Ink in shaded lilac
  • Visible Image C.S. fee stamp .. stamped in Distress Inks: shaded lilac, shabby shutters and picked raspberry
  • Clearly Inspired coneflower image stamped twice using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Kaisercraft border image stamped using the picked raspberry ink
  • Crafters Companion Spray and Shine applied, to protect the water based colours

And finally, a third one:-

Number Three
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippet of hot pink card adhered to the ATC blank
  • Snippet of white card coloured using Distress Ink in shaded lilac and punched using a Martha Stewart edging punch ... first time it's been out of the drawer in MONTHS (and months!)!!!
  • Visible Image C.S. fee stamp .. stamped in Distress Inks: shaded lilac, shabby shutters and picked raspberry
  • Clearly Inspired coneflower image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Crafters Companion Spray and Shine applied, to protect the water based colours

Since I used snippets on these cards, I shall be entering them for the following challenges:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - "Snippets challenge"
  2. Simply Create Too - "Anything Goes"
  3. Simply Papercrafts for all occasions - "Anything Goes"
And the free stamp? It came with the latest issue, check out the bottom left corner - fab isn't it? I think I'll use this a lot!

Morning

Wow! They're ALL great and I really LOVE the colour combination you used. If I HAD to pick I'd go for the middle one as a favourite but it's a very close call. Lx

Love the scribbly flourish Kathy, I think I can predict you using it a lot. Still love those Echinacias (Sp?) too.

We remembered....but Morrisons was very empty at 10 this morning....don't know if that was clock related.....or just the totally dismal weather!!

Wow Kathy, three fabulous makes here! And isn't it great how just the same stamps used differently can make such different cards, even using same colours.

Yup, rotten weather here too - wild overnight and now just the sort of day to stay in and play!

Hugs

Di xx
