Welcome to another Saturday - challenge day!

Hi there everyone,
The weather's been so naff lately that there's been no chance to cut the grass - check out how ridiculous it's become ....
Yep, it's really THAT long!

And, on top of needing to track down goats ... or a scythe - for the grass, I've come home with a cold too - YUCK.

Meanwhile, it's challenge day, so .... armed with my box of tissues I headed to my table of craftiness and here's what turned up .....
My card

And a close up
And the co-ordinating insert and envelope
Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 14 cm square white card panel - for insert
  • Snippets of card in white, neon yellow and neon orange
  • Visible Image small flourish inked in Memento dandelion, pear tart and tangelo (on image panel) and Hero Arts neon orange elsewhere
  • Stampers Anonymous "runway" image stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
  • Adirondack sunset orange ink used water colour style on the dress
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Stardust stickles used to highlight
I'll be entering this make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - Lucky dip challenge No. 226 - Two or four legs!
  2. Friday Mashup - challenge No. 211 - water colour fun and/or sketch - I went with watercolour
  3. Sister Act - challenge No. 108 - ANYTHING GOES

Have a great weekend everyone ..... me and my cold are heading back to bed I think!

Well, if you created this when you're feeling poorly I think you deserve some praise! I hope you feel better soon. Love this colour theme and elegant image, and of course it needed some sparkle.
Thanks for sharing with us.

This is a fabulous leggy make. Love the image and colours and you are so quick to the party too each week - don't know how you do it.
Thanks as always

I feel your pain with the grass. Mine was getting a tribe of Pigmies in there until last week. Only thing is Hubby upset the bees and some swarmed when he got a bit close with the strimmer!! Hive no. 4 now!
Gorgeous card. Love the colours.
Keep your cold to yourself please.

Poor Kathy, what with jet lag and importing a foreign cold, you are't feeling great. Did you really need to import a cold, haven't we got enough of the bugs?

Hi Kathy, what a lovely, elegant card. And what a trooper you are to keep creating even when you're depending on a box of kleenexes to keep you from dripping all over your project. Thanks so much for joining us this week for the Friday Mashup challenge. Get well soon. :)

Fabulous card Kathy. Love the mix of background designs, and the sparkle on her dress, really makes it pop!

Your grass looks lush and green from all the rain.:) We have had hardly any rain, so the lawns around here are looking really parched and a bit brown. Personally, I'd rather have the rain. :)

Take care of yourself. I'm late getting around to visiting, so hope you are feeling much better by now. xx
