Lazy Sunday! Well, it IS here!

Morning all
Well, last night the husband and I were out to dinner ... we went to a new restaurant (to us, though it's reasonably new anyway) and met up with my brother, sister-in-law, two nephews and the fiancée of the eldest nephew too. A nice surprise when we got there, the youngest nephew's girlfriend was able to make it too. A really interesting place - the starters are BBQ's at the table and then you help yourself to main course and dessert from the buffet, a nice mix of Indian and Mexican. We'd go again
Managed to stage a little crafting along the way yesterday too ....

Materials used:
  • Manila tag
  • Snippets of water colour paper, red card
  • Viva Las Vegas monkey with hat, stamped on to the water colour paper using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Using my big shot I die cut the water colour paper image in to a plain circle slightly larger than the image stamped on it and the red card was die cut in to a scalloped circle slightly larger again
  • Distress Inks to colour image circle: Black soot, festive berries, frayed burlap, tea dye, shabby shutters, peeled paint
  • Kaisercraft chevron and Paper Artsy splatter images stamped randomly using the shabby shutters and peeled paint inks
  • Using Distress Paint in weathered wood and Distress Stain in bundled sage I coloured the front of the tag and set aside to dry
  • Kaisercraft gingham image stamped using Distress Ink in shabby shutters stamped over the entire tag
  • TCW "faux brick" stencil used with the ink leftover on my blending tool (kinda black soot-y) over parts of the tag
  • Stampers Anonymous sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
I shall be entering this for the following challenge:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - SNIPPETS CHALLENGE
  2. Scribble and Scrap - challenge No. 46 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. That Craft Place - June challenge - ANYTHING GOES

What a character in your card, one wonders how he lived his life to arrive at that, LOL.
