Welcome to another Wednesday

Morning readers,

Hope your week is progressing well, just think ... it's downhill all the way to the weekend!

Ever been blog hopping and seen something that caught your imagination? I did just that recently and made this ....

My take on the card design

And the co-ordinating insert and envelope

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 250gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 13½cm square (x 2) of white card for image and insert
  • 14cm square (x 2) of blue card for matting
  • Visible Image INKognite flower stem stamped using Memento Mediterranean blue ink
  • Visible Image star image stamped using Memento tangelo ink
  • Visible Image swirl image stamped using Memento dandelion
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink

Inspired by this ..... made by Jane over at Purplejet, but with a twist to make it mine, I loved the simplicity of her design and choice of images.

And, since I had a number of partially made tags I decided to crack on and finish at least ONE!! Sorry - but, pun intended!

Materials used in the completion of my tag

Materials used:

  • Kraft luggage tag (courtesy of Debs at mini craftathon)
  • Dylusions paint in purple used to cover tag and white paint applied through a TCW "faux brick" stencil
  • "You" and "are" from the stampabilities sentiment builder set stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Studiog alphabet set used to spell "the" using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Inkadinkado numeral set "1" and Dina Wakley sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Dina Wakley heart image stamped using Ranger Archival sepia ink
  • White Signo Uniball gell pen used to highlight bricks, letters and heart
  • Ribbon scraps in navy, white and rose pink threaded through hole in tag

I will be entering the above tag for the following challenges:-

  1. Dragons Dream Tag It On - TIO #195 - The Number ONE
  2. The Artistic Stamper - July challenge - TAGS
  3. Card and Scrap - challenge No. 100 - TAG

Further to my trip to the mall on Monday and sharing a few "Shaun the Sheep" pix yesterday - here are some more ........ which we found at the Gromit Unleashed/Shaun in the City store .....

Their window display of the mini Shauns

And a closer view, aren't they cute?

Slightly larger "midi" representations

And now, since it IS What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday, here's a sneaky peek at my desk .....

Check back for the final Shaun the Sheep pix (till next time, there ARE 120 of them you know!) on Friday

Thanks for CASing my card - so honoured! Love your pastel colours and your arrangement of the stamps reminds me of the patterns drawn in the air with a sparkler. Enjoying the Shaun the Sheep photos too. Guessing you found all 120 then.
