Welcome to the start of the weekend ... and the Friday Funny too

Morning all,

Yesterday was spent in the company of my pal (and neighbour) Sally. We headed out a little before 10:00 and spent a couple of hours shopping at the mall and nattering before we had lunch at Charleys Philly Steak, set the World to rights and headed home! Didn't buy much although I DID get two items as partial Christmas presents - YAY!

Hubs was cracking on with painting the outside of the house and was almost done by the time I got home - reSULT!

And, since cracking open my journal again recently .... I rediscovered the freedom of journalling ..

My page
My page in close up
Materials used:
  • I brayered acrylic paints for the background: neon pink/yellow/orange and then metallic purple, I quite like the whole grungy neon!
  • Using Ranger Archival inks in jet black and watering can I added images: Spykee (Stampotique), splats and fingerprints (Inkadinkado "Bloody Scene"), Sentiments (Stamplorations "Noteworthy"), Star border (Stampers Anonymous "Random Thoughts") and the curvy border (Dylusions DYB40873)
  • I used peerless watercolours to colour the border: orange yellow and light green
  • Doodles using Pitt pens in black and white
  • Platinum stickles
  • Faber Castell glass bead glitter gel through a Tim Holtz tyre track stencil using a metal spatula

I'll be entering this for the following challenges:-
  1. Penny's Paper Crafty - challenge No. 250 - ANYTHING GOES

And now, a quick ATC using some of the recent release Distress Inks .....
