Fantastic looking grungy-style cards Kathy.

Erm . . . it's an insect of some description! That's the limit of my knowledge!

Hi Kathy, Lovely cards.

What you have there is a female and male two-stripped Wallingford. Stay clear, they shoot a liquid that can irritate the skin. The big question is how a bug that lives in the southern USA made its way to Bristal.

Again, really like your cards.

Just back from holiday in US, missed your blog! Which front door were you living at when you spotted that stick insect kind of thing?

Love the cards, as usual.

Thanks Carole and Maarit, it does indeed appear to be a two striped walking stick. I kept clear so didn't get involved in the liquid that irritates!!! Just left them to do what they were doing!!!!

Two great cards...and matching envelopes! You always do such a great job making matching envelopes! Your colors on the LIM card are simply gorgeous!

UGH! I didn't notice that the spell-check changed walking-stick to Wallington. LOL
Also, I figured out that the picture was not taken in Bristal. Boy do I feel stupid.

Great colour combos on both cards, but I'm more partial to the fiery colours - they are so cheerful! Glad you solved the insect query - aren't crafters helpful people?

I'm not so keen on the insects Kathy but those 2 cards are simply awesome. Circles work brilliantly in both colour-ways and I love the fiery tones you've created. thanks so much for playing along this week!
