It's the time of week when we can all use the FRIDAY FUNNY!

Morning all,

After a funny old week we're on the downhill slope to the weekend ... got plans? I do, I'm off to Newbury to the Papercraft Show tomorrow .. leaving hubby at home almost literally watching paint dry!!!

It's funny but, around this time of year I find I have quite a few wedding anniversaries coming up ... is it possible you are the same?

My card
And a closer view of the gorgeous Delicata ink

The front, back and inside of my card along withe the front and back of the envelope

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 250gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 13½cm square + snippet
  • One piece of 300gsm gold card, cut to 14cm square + snippet
  • One snippet of 300gsm red card, for matting
  • Dina Wakely "trio of hearts" stamped using Delicata golden glitz ink and the "love Rocks" sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • The Cats Pyjamas sentiment and flourish (inside the card) stamped using Delicata golden glitz ink

With the gorgeous sheen of the gold ink I didn't think any additional bling was necessary .. though I DID consider adding a few gemstones - any thoughts peeps?

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Craft Rocket Challenges - challenge No. 18 - WEDDINGS AND THINGS
  2. Crafty Sentiments - challenge No. 28 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Simon Says Stamp - June 29th challenge - WHATEVER TAKES YOUR FANCY (ATG)
  4. Ruby's Rainbow - challenge No. 132 - IT'S HIP TO BE SQUARE

Here's an ATC I ran up earlier this week and which uses up a few snippets .... I can't seem to stop myself making ATC's right now, just as well they use up a whole truckload of snippets, and that's a GOOD thing!!!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in red, navy and white
  • JOFY flower image and Chapel Road sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • JOFY circles image stamped multiple times using Ranger Archival sepia ink
  • Alcohol markers to colour (including background)
  • Pitt big brush white and Signo Uniball black gel pens used to doodle a border

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Shopping Our Stash - challenge No. 258 - HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW
  2. Creative knockouts - challenge No. 148 - ALL ABOUT FLOWERS
  3. Julia Spiri - challenge No. 21 - ANYTHING GOES .. with a twist - ADD A FLOWER
  4. 4 Crafty Chicks - challenge No. 305 - ANYTHING GOES

And now, for the Friday this week my pal, SandraT has come to the rescue ..... ENJOY this slightly risque FF!

Claude and Maude's night out!

They met at the singles club meeting and discovered over time that they enjoyed each other's company.

After several weeks of meeting for coffee, Claude asked Maude out for dinner and, much to his delight, she accepted. They had a lovely evening. They dined at the most romantic restaurant in town.

Despite his age, they ended at his place for an after-dinner drink. Things continued along a natural course and age being no inhibitor, Maude soon joined Claude for a most enjoyable roll in the hay.

As they were basking in the glow of the magic moments they'd shared, each was lost for a time in their own thoughts.....

Claude was thinking: 'If I'd known she was still a virgin, I’d have been gentler.'

Maude was thinking: 'If I'd known he could still do it, I'd have taken my tights off '

Ooo-er missus!!!!

Have a great weekend
