Morning readers,
What a lovely day it was yesterday? The sun shone and we spent time with our surrogate family - perfick .. oh, and we got a little exercise too (that would be the walk to and from)!
What a lovely day it was yesterday? The sun shone and we spent time with our surrogate family - perfick .. oh, and we got a little exercise too (that would be the walk to and from)!
Things are a little sluggish at the purple palace this morning, due to a late night and a bevy (or two!). Maybe this explains why I simply HAD to position my image panel "on the wonk"!!! So, is my image a chessboard or a futuristic image? I remain undecided
Materials used:
My ATC |
- ATC blank
- Snippet of black card and white card
- Lost Coast image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
- Stamplorations sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
- Distress Inks in carved pumpkin and candied apple applied using a Tim Holtz mini blender and colour bleached out in a couple of spots using water, allowed to develop and then the excess blotted away
- Creative Expressions border image stamped using Memento rich cocoa just to add a little interest and depth around the edges
- Once dry I applied a layer of Crafters Companion spray and shine to seal and protect the water based inks
- Using a Tsukineko gelly roll white gel pen I doodled a bit of a border and accented the sentiment

Love these! For the ATC, I'm going with "futuristic image" as it looks just like a scene from a sci-fi film! Fantastic. Your personalised card is so pretty with those pinks and circles <3 Gorgeous design. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
Love your ATC , I'm in camp futuristic I think! Your personalised card is fabulous, love the colour x
Terrific thank you card...love how you added the design to your envelope! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
Two great cards ! For your first one, at first sight I would say a chessboard, but looking at it better, with this orange background, I thought to the planet Mars, so I would say futuristic landscape ! Your thank you card is just fabulous, love this Thank You sentiment ! A great CAS card for our challenge this week ! Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !
Great ATC, Kathy, I love the rich colours. Your CAS card is just beautiful, perfect for the LIM challenge. xx
I love the bright ATC Kathy and the image is a little reminiscent of a chess board but maybe of the futuristic kind and love the white spots you have doodled round the edge and also added to the image. The card looks great with the black, pink and white combination and the way you have used just that small circle stamp works beautifully and it is finished perfectly with the personalised sentiment. x
Great creations. Thanks for entering Creative Knockouts good luck and hope to see you again

I think that ATC is superb. That stamped chessboard image works perfectly on an ATC and I love the colours you used.
Great card for Wynneth too.

Great ATC for some reason it reminds me of The Prisoner - fab colours too. Great LIM card - that is not a name you are going to find easily on anything in the shops.
Simply delightful Kathy and I just love that pop of pink with black and white. CAS and cool! Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More with your take on our Personalise It challenge.
