Sunday post

Morning all

I was out all day yesterday, scrapbooking with pals .. photos at the end of the post, you might want to grab a coffee! This is by way of explaining why my usual Saturday morning LIM entry has been delayed until this morning - hope you like it. The post is a bit photo heavy so you might want to grab a coffee before reading on ......

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 14cm square and one piece of lime cut to 14½cm square
  • Using a piece of scrap card I cut to 13½cm square I die cut a 7cm circle in the centre and taped to the image panel centrally.
  • Using a blending mat and mini blending tool I applied Distress Ink in twisted citron and, once dry applied a layer of Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to seal it
  • Clearly Inspired rose (from the brushed flower set) and the Happy Little Stampers sentiment (from their Butterfly Birthday set) using Versafine majestic blue ink
  • For the insert, reverse and envelope I used a Paper Artsy splatter (HPXT01) and Adirondack citron ink - to co-ordinate the blue/lime colour scheme

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 344 - COLOUR THEME - lime green and Royal blue
  2. Happy Little Stampers - September CAS challenge - SILHOUETTE
  3. Inkspirational - challenge No. 142 - OLDIE BUT GOODIE .... can't tell you exactly how long I've had the floral image used but certainly since before 2008 - hope that makes it old ENOUGH!
  4. Crafty Friends - challenge No. 65 - BIRTHDAYS
  5. Di's Digi Designs challenge - August 25th challenge - BRIGHT COLOURS

So, where was I yesterday that I didn't get round to my LIM card? Well, I was at Cirencester Agricultural University, scrap booking with 20 other ladies, we had a fab day

Hard at work
Mine and Jacky's workspace - it was just like being at home
Lovely venue
Been meaning to scrap these pix since July 2016
Catching up on the HLS retreat in 2016, it'll soon be the 2017 version!

This was October 2016's vacation

At least I'm now in to this year!
Pheww! And I'm up to date!
