Welcome to Friday ... the weekend starts here!

Morning readers,

Hope you've had a great week. Arguably, mine's been a bit "bitty" with very little working out QUITE to plan but hey, there will be other weeks when EVERYTHING goes to plan so it's good to mix it up, right?

Managed to hit the ToC (Table of Craftiness) pretty hard this week too, I was rummaging through my drawers (oo-er missus) and came across this little gem - had it for YEARS and decided it was high time it saw ink again .... I think you'll agree. I stand to be corrected but I THINK I probably bought this stamp in 2008/2009!

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White 1½cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 11½cm square
  • One piece of orange card cut to mat using a 1.6mm border
  • Penny Black image (Birthday of colours 2888k) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour and blended using Sansodor and paper stumps
  • That's Crafty brick mini stencil (TC026) through which I applied Memento dandelion ink
  • Dovecraft sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Stardust stickles used to highlight the balloons and to trace/bling up the large font of the sentiment

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 346 - TAKE FLIGHT ... It has less white space than my usual but ... I THINK I'd still call it CAS and hope my fellow LIM-ette's will too
  2. Pause, Dream, Enjoy - challenge No. 191 - ANIMALS
  3. Retro Rubber - challenge No. 71 - ANYTHING GOES ..... estimated age of image ... 8-9 years
  4. Sheepski Designs - challenge No. 5 - FEATURE A CREATURE

Had a good week? Hope you will have an even better weekend then! Had a bad week? Hope you can relax this weekend

Aww, that's a cute PB kitty card. Beautifully coloured & great idea for the path to ground him x

What an adorable image Kathy - can see why it needed another outing. Yep - I think you got your assessment comment right - it is maybe a little 'busy' for us at Less is More (not your usual style for our challenge!) but it is a very cute card nonetheless and the brick path was inspired. Thanks for letting us see it xx

A fun and frivolous, colour-crazy card Kathy and love that little scene even if it's slightly less CAS than your usual designs. It's a real cheery and happy card and thanks as always for sharing at Less is More

Hi Kathy!
No TOC for me for weeks (make that months) and not likely to have until DECEMBER... but just in time for all the Christmas goodies to be bought I think?
Hope all is well with you - cute kitty card - and I LOVE the dog below!

That's one cute cat and I love his string of balloons and the crazy pavement under him. I like the hints of sparkle and shine that add to the festive air he's leaving in his wake. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge this week.
