Welcome to my Monday post


Hope you all had a great weekend. Me? I was scrapbooking with friends in Cirencester.

Don't know about you but I don't cope with bereavement particularly well, who does? So, I prefer to  make my sympathy cards when I don't actually NEED them, so here's another to share with you

My card
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White 12.7cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 11.5cm square
  • One piece of raspberry DCWV linen textured card cut to 12cm square
  • Chocolate Baroque foliage stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink and butterfly using Memento tangelo ink
  • Crayola pencils used to apply just a touche of colour to the butterfly
  • Stardust stickles to add just the merest sparkle
  • Hero Arts sentiment stamped using Versacolour raspberry ink

And now, since it's been a while, I've an ATC to share with you today too ..

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in Deep green, sage green and white
  • Kaisercraft mini grid image stamped using Brilliance pearlescent olive ink
  • Kaisercraft mini dots image stamped using Brilliance pearlescent thyme ink
  • Hero Arts text image and Close To My Heart numbers image stamped using Memento bamboo leaves ink
  • Stamplorations sentiment builder "DISCOVER" sentiments stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Visible Image (craft Stamper mini flourish image) stamped border using Brilliance pearlescent ivy ink

I love Chocolate Bsroque stamps and this set is one I have often looked at but not got yet, and the stylised flowers look so elegant in just black ink Kathy, and love the sweet coloured butterfly. The ATC works well too and love the green you have used and the grid and numbers look great. x

OOOH lots of fabness here . . . LOVE LOVE LOVE that Zentangle inspired stamp on the first card, and all the grungyness on the ATC. SUPERB work Missus.

Love the flower stamp on your card, Kathy, makes a perfect sympathy card. Great ATC too. I must admit that I wouldn't know where to start with ATCs - such a little space to fit everything in, but you always do it so well. xx
