Welcome to my Saturday post

Morning all,

Some filthy weather we've been having this week, I find myself wondering if we have the dregs of Hurricane Harvey and am thankful we didn't get the full effects though I do feel dreadfully for those who did and for those in the path of Hurricanes Irma and Jose too

Today I have an ATC for you, made using new stash - I love to use new stash BEFORE it gets as far as the drawer!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in both black and white
  • Paper Artsy ZN11 stamped on to the white snippet using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Copic markers to colour
  • Paper Artsy splatter (from HTPX01) stamped using Ranger Archival paradise teal ink
  • Tsukineko white gelly roll gel pen used to doodle a border
  • Anita's clear 3D gloss used on the eyes

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Crafting with friends - challenge No. 50 EXTRA - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Creative Fingers - challenge No. 136 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Polkadoodles - challenge No. 36 - ANYTHING GOES

And now ... I usually like to enter a particular challenge of a Saturday and was delighted with this morning's theme ... off and running, lovely card, photographed and blogged it .... only to realise that it was NOT a One Layer Card! DOH! Can't tell you how many times I've fallen for that one .... that make will now be blogged on Monday! Here's my second attempt, hope you like it too!

I love your ATC, he's fab and the glossy eyes are perfect. Love your card too. I did smile at your extra layers, I don't know how many times I've made a DT card for a stamping challenge and then realised there's no stamping on It!
