A special project for a special birthday

Morning all,

Well I have a very special batch of projects to share with you today ... first, the card ....

My card
The front, back and inside of my card, along with the front and back of my envelope
Materials used:
  • White 10cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 9 and 9½cm square
  • One piece of navy card cut to 9½cm square
  • My Favorite Things image stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Alcohol markers, zig markers and Kaisercraft gel pens used to add touches of colour and sparkle to image
  • Stardust stickles to bling him up a bit!
  • CAS-ual Friday sentiments (from the WTF set) stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • For the insert I added Inkadinkado sentiment and numbers stamped using Ranger Archival watering can and cobalt blue inks - highlighting with Kaisercraft gel pens (both glitter and neon)

Here's hoping it will have hit the spot with the recipient! Especially since I have made the gift bottle tag to co-ordinate

Materials used:
  • Snippets of card in white and navy
  • Circle dies
  • Dylusions alphabet (DYB41917), Inkadinkado numbers (31318 Birthday numbers) and MFT chef (from Recipe for Happiness) images all stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour and Kaisercraft glitter gel pens
  • White organza ribbon, to tie it in place - see below

AND the gift wrap!

The front view and back view of the gift wrapped item

And the wrap itself

Materials used:
  • Red tissue paper, one sheet, cut in half and lightly dusted using an anti static bag
  • MFT chef (from the Recipe for Happiness set) stamped using Versamark ink
  • Funstamps white embossing powder sprinkled, the excess shaken off and then heat embossed
  • Once the embossed design had cooled a little I stamped the TPC Studio (cupcakes set) sentiment using Ranger Archival jet black ink

A great card Kathy and love the way it all coordinates so perfectly even down to that beautifully embossed tissue paper. x
