Welcome to my Wednesday post ....

Morning all,

How's your week coming along?

After a couple of "ordeal by Ring Road" trips and being late a couple of times (which I HATE) I left 45 minutes early for my three mile drive and, guess what? I was almost half an hour EARLY. Fortunately, I took a book so enjoyed a nice read in the sunshine before my hair appointment! You just KNOW if I hadn't left so early I would have been well late! There's just no logic to our present traffic issues - since the motorway was closed yesterday (the day of my hair appointment) I was sure the traffic was going to be bad but - NOTHING! Oh well, only another 40 weeks of taking a book wherever I go and leaving ridiculously early!

Still, managed a smidge of crafting upon me return, always relaxes me too ....

These silhouette Wise Men are great Kathy and the metallic pearl card frames them beautifully. I know what you mean about never knowing how long it is going to take you to get a very short distance, it gets a bit like that round here sometimes. I have to say we went to the supermarket the other side of town yesterday at the time of day when we could have been held up but it was extremely quiet also, so there you I hope your book was a good read. x

Mmm-mmm, I love a bronze/copper touch on a card, so this makes me smile, Kathy! It's CASlicious in black and white! If only that message could be embraced in today's world. And if only everyone could stay home on days you want to leave the house! That's what I always say, haha. I also say things like, "Darn. I must have been gone the day they called to ask my opinion on this or that because I'm pretty sure I didn't approve this or that!" It's great to be queen in our heads!! Thank you so much for playing three times in my NBUS Challenge #12! Hugs, Darnell
