Welcome to the start of another week!

Morning all,

Here's hoping you all enjoyed a fab weekend with something nice occurring too. It was a little chilly here and I broke my washing machine but hey ... a lovely evening with friends and a good meal more than made up for it!

I've a couple of makes to share with you today, the first uses one of my fave stamp sets plus a number of SNIPPETS (always good to use up some of those errant snippets isn't it?) and the second deploys ribbon, which I don't use often these days, AND a cool Dina Wakley image - hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them and thanks for stopping by.

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • One piece of white card and a snippet of purple card cut to fit along with a piece of DCWV patterned card (from the Rockstar stack) along with snippets of white, charcoal and purple card - for my image panel
  • Creative Expressions star (from one of my favourites .... their Urban Beats set) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Stampers Anonymous sentiment stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • White image panel edged using Memento grape jelly ink
  • Black glitter glue used to add a more masculine take on "bling"

Two wonderful cards Kathy and I love the CE Urban Beats star stamp with that pretty paper, and the DW stamp looks great and the ribbon across the middle makes a lovely embellishment too. Glad your weekend was mostly good. x

Totally fabulous Kathy! Great to see you using up snippets. I do love that you show what you'll be using too!

But what's with the washing machine?! I'm still dithering over which one we should get here - I talk to the old one each time I use it! Ought to do something before it goes with a bang!

Hugs
