Welcome to the start of another week

Morning all,

Hope you had a great weekend, we certainly did. We had a nice meal with friends and made a new friend, sadly, it rained Sunday morning but hey - the grass wouldn't be half so green if it never rained!

I was asked to make some Christmas cards recently and this was one design I chose.

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • Two white C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelopes
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit and one piece of coloured card cut to mat (for each card)
  • Paper Artsy (ZA17) image and Recollections sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Derwent coloursoft pencils used to add colour and blended with gamsol and a paper stump
  • Stardust stickles to bling up the image and snow

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Crafty Friends - challenge No. 70 - CHRISTMAS
  2. Christmas Card Challenges - challenge No. 25 - ANYTHING GOES with optional (not used) twist of CATS
  3. Delicious Doodles - November 1st challenge - TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS (colours or image .... I went with red and gold)
  4. Craft Rocket - challenge No. 43 - CHRISTMAS IS COMING
  5. Crafting by Designs - November 8th challenge - WINTER SPARKLE

This was for a commission for 15 cards ... and the batch (of just two)? They look like this, side by side.

And now, for a change, a card which is neither birthday nor Christmas!! Woo Hoo!

Some beautiful cards Kathy. The penguin is so sweet and looks good in the other colour, and the anniversary card with one of those wonderful Paper Artsy images is so pretty, and the feather goes perfectly on this sympathy card. x
