Welcome to an unexpected bonus post from me ...

Morning all,

Welcome to my new followers Carol Gill and Michelle  M, thanks for stopping by.

I've been even busier card making than usual and I realise that posting too many cards in one post can get a bit much. I usually post on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Saturday but have too many cards to share - hence an extra post today!

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit and one piece of maroon (Recollections) card cut to mat
  • Scrap card cut to fit image panel and a square cut out, to use as a mask
  • Low tack tape to hold mask in place and then Distress Oxides in antique linen and candied apple applied using a Tim Holtz mini blending tool
  • Tim Holtz stencil placed over coloured panel and then water sponged through (sadly, this step shows better IRL than the photograph!)
  • Paper Artsy ETS04 image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Derwent coloursoft pencils used to colour hearts
  • Stardust stickles used to add bling to the image and D.O. outline
  • Hero Arts sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. AAA Cards - challenge No. 102 - INK BLENDING

And another make from me ..... I was asked to make a few anniversary cards ..... so, here's the next!

  • Prisma scholar pencils used to add colour
  • Stardust stickles to bling up the image

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. The Corrosive challenge - challenge No. 11 - ANYTHING GOES

And I was also asked to make some sympathy cards ... I KNOW nobody LIKES to make them but they are sometimes necessary and I find them easier to make for other people or when I don't personally NEED them, so ....

You have made two very pretty and colourful anniversary cards using that lovely Paper Artsy set Kathy, and the sympathy card with the dandelion clock works really well and the perfect colours with the black, grey and white. x
