I don't usually post on a Sunday these days but .. MERRY CHRISTMAS

Guessing that not too many people will be about in blogland tomorrow so wanted to wish you all a very
Merry Christmas and (of course)
a Happy New Year

I had to MAKE myself make a card that wasn't a Christmas card, lately that seems to be all I can make but ...... I had occasion to use a "BABY" card and I looked at my "stock" .. must have had them a while as I knew I was never going to be happy sending those. Cue recycling where possible and binning what couldn't be saved. Hmmmm ... thought I would make one boy and one girl card to replace the half dozen "duds"! No need to make more as I (PLAINLY) don't use a lot!

My "BOY" card
My "GIRL" card

The front, back and inside of my cards along with the front and back of the envelope
Materials used:
  • White 12cm square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card (for each card) cut to 11cm square
  • Two pieces of card (one pink and one blue) cut to 11.6cm square
  • The offcuts of card in white, pink and blue die cut in to stitched circles
  • Fizzy Moon image (from Wish Upon a Star), Stamplorations sentiment (from CELEBRATE sentiment builder) and baby sentiment (from Imagine That's "Write Big #2") stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Gold glitter washi tape and blue circles satin ribbon used to embellish (ribbon attached using double sided tape)
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils and Kaisercraft glitter gel pens used to add colour to the image and stardust stickles to further bling them both up!

I'll be entering the above makes for the following challenges:-

Sweet trio of cards, Kathy. Christmas cards are my favourite to make, so it’s sad to see this season cycle has ended. Your Christmas card using our sketch is adorable and festive. Love how complete your card is with the front, inside and envelopes all stamped to match. I never think to do this. Happy new year and thank you for joining us at Less is More.
