Welcome to the start of another week!

Morning all,

I trust you all enjoyed your weekend though it was probably a little on the chilly side .. will we get a White Christmas? Do we even WANT a white Christmas?

As many of you will probably know, I was at a craft retreat recently and came home with a fair few cards and card fronts to blog ..... my first make to share with you this morning was one of the card fronts which I have now finished in to a card ... because some of the materials were not my own, I don't have a photo of the materials or of the other parts of the card although they ARE decorated!

My card - I used the chevrons and birthday sentiment to
embellish the other parts of the card
Materials used:
  • White C6, 300gsm card and matching sized envelope
  • White card panel cut to 13cm x 10cm and matted using 300gsm red card
  • Kaisercraft mini grid image stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Kaisercraft mini dot image stamped using Distress Ink spiced marmalade ink
  • Kaisercraft sketchy image stamped using Memento London fog ink
  • Creative Expressions (Inspiring Edges) image and Happy Little Stampers (Butterfly Birthday) sentiment stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Creative Expressions (Inspiring Edges) chevron image stamped using Distress Ink in candied apple
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 71 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. 4CraftyChicks - challenge No. 379 - ANYTHING GOES
And another make .... despite the fact I THINK I have written all my Christmas cards for 2017, I just can't seem to stop myself making Christmas cards - my excuse? Well, this IS new stash!

My card
And a closer view of my image

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 240gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white and one of red card cut to fit using the MFT stitched rectangle dies
  • Impression Obsession "Zenspirations" image stamped using Memento tuxedo black
  • For the insert and envelope I also stamped the MFT sentiment (from the bitty bears set) using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour
  • Kaisercraft metallic glitter gel pens used to highlight the text in the tree

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
