It's Friday and the weekend starts here!!!

OK, so ... not literally HERE - I have no power to get your bosses to send you home and get cracking with your weekend!! I would if I could though!

I had a lovely day out with a pal yesterday, we met at Snazzy's where the lovely Val made us welcome. After we'd finished shopping and chatting there we headed off for lunch and more chat .. it should therefore come as no surprise to hear that there wasn't a lot of crafting yesterday! In fact, this was it - but the gnomes are just so cute!

My tag
And on the reverse
Materials used:
  • Fancy die cut tag
  • Gnome image (from the Creative Expressions set "Scandi Christmas") stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • High Hopes birthday sentiment and Fiskars "to" and "from" stamped using Memento Paris dusk ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour, blending with sansodor and a paper stump
  • Stardust stickles to bling it up a bit!

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. Simon Says Stamp - Monday challenge - SIMON SAYS TAG IT
  2. Use Your Stuff - challenge No. 296 - TAG, YOU'RE IT
  3. Incy Wincy Designs - January 15th challenge - TAG
  4. Shopping Our Stash - challenge No. 338 - THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY
  5. Tuesday Throwdown - challenge No. 376 - ANYTHING GOES but MUST stamp
And what did I buy? Not very  much but .. what I DID buy should be very handy! Sarn commented that she couldn't really see what the item on the right was so ... see further down for (HOPEFULLY) a better pic!

My Walnut Hollow metal texture rollers, with tool
And the new Ranger Letter It "CELEBRATION" set of clear stamps

Fabulously cute gnome tag. Glad you had a good time out at Snazzys etc.

Looks like a good stamp set but I can't tell what the TAL thing to the side of it is? Please enlighten me!

Fabulous tag, Kathy, just love that cute gnome. It's been a while since I last went shopping in Snazzy's but it's always a friendly place to visit. I'm not sure what the texture rollers are used for, but they look really to check them out on Google. xx

Another fabulous day of chatting and eating, oh and a little bit of shopping. I'm waiting to see what you do with the stamp set before I use mine, woohoo lol. Can't wait until next month. Hugs, Amanda x

Awwww! This tag is like a 57 on the Adorable Scale! I love your little gnome and how you gave his some additional oomph with the Stickles. I also like how it has the sentiment and "to" and "from" lines on the back. Cute hole at the top, too, which is different than the usual round hole. Thank you for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
